A new Globalls Mini Golf venue is planned to open in Sutton, London.

Globalls Mini Golf is planning to open a new indoor glow-in-the-dark minigolf course on Sutton High Street in Sutton, London.

Moby Golf at Whalebone Golf Club in Chadwell Heath, Essex

Golf Kingdom is now known as Whalebone Golf Club.

Whalebone Golf Club in Chadwell Heath, Essex is home to Moby Golf.

Moby Golf is an 18-hole outdoor adventure golf course.

The inspiration behind the course is the legend of 'Moby Dick' - a whale that washed up nearby in Dagenham back in 1790!

We played Moby Golf on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour back in June 2014. Time flies!

Depending on who you ask Moby Golf and Whalebone Golf Club is located in Romford, Chadwell Heath, Hainault, London and Essex!

The Waddingtons Crazy Golf Machine board game from 1995

This is the Crazy Golf Machine board game from Waddingtons.

It's a superb board game and a lot of fun to play. The set was created in 1995 and comes with all you need to play a round, from 'clubs' to balls and a whole host of crazy obstacles to putt through.

There was also a version released in the USA called the Goofy Golf Machine.

A look at the Folkestone Sports Centre Crazy Golf back in 2010.

The Folkestone Sports Centre Crazy Golf course was one of the most unique minigolf courses we've been to on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

We played the outdoor 9-hole crazy golf course back in September 2010 when it became the 198th course played on our travels.

The 9-hole crazy golf layout was very interesting to say the least. It was constructed out of what appeared to be part of a former skate/BMX park, and was located in half of a derelict tennis court beside a dry ski-slope!

Looking on the Folkestone Sports Centre website it looks like the crazy golf course is long gone.

Anyone for Tennis?

A look at the sports-themed Adventure Golf course at Romsey Rapids Sports Complex in Southampton, Hampshire.

There were lots of sports on offer as obstacles on the sports-themed minigolf course at Romsey Rapids Sports Complex in Southampton, Hampshire when we swung by for a visit on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour back in May 2019.

The 18-hole course was the 877th course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. We've now been to 1,127 courses since 2006.

Tennis minigolf at Sports World Mini Golf at O'Leary's in the Mall of Scandinavia Solna, Stockholm, Sweden

It's a nice indoor venue where each hole is themed on a different sport.

We played the Sports World Mini Golf course in 2018.

Sports World Mini Golf was the 801st course we visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. We've now been to 1,127 courses since 2006.

The new Lane7 venue has opened in Leeds city centre.

Lane7 in Leeds has four Mini Golf Lanes at its new city centre location.

The former Woolworths in Selby

Spotting a Woolworth ghost sign in Selby, North Yorkshire.

We noticed the remains of a Woolworth sign on the former store on Gowthorpe in Selby while having a wander through the town.

Before its closure in 2009 the shop had been a Woolworths Local store.

Woolworth became Woolworths in 1984

It's now a Yorkshire Trading Company shop.

Mini Golf in Ryde on the Isle of Wight

There are plans for a new mini golf course in Ryde on the Isle of Wight.

The Esplanade Pavilion in Ryde on the Isle of Wight could become home to a new mini golf course as part of plans to open a new venue inside a former nightclub.

The mini golf course would have 9 holes inside and 12 holes outside.

The new venue would also be home to darts, shuffleboard, karaoke pods and more.

The plans are from Isle of Wight Bowling who operate Ryde Superbowl at The Pavilion.

On 'Minigolf Monday' this week I asked "Where in the world was this Pitch & Putt miniature golf course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour?".

The answer was the Pitch & Putt Mini Golf at Onchan Pleasure Park on the Isle of Man.

We played the course during our holiday on the Isle of Man in 2018.

During our round I managed to score my first ever hole-in-one on a Pitch & Putt course. It came on hole 4.

Onchan Pleasure Park is also home to a 9-hole Crazy Golf course.

Crazy Golf at Pontins Prestatyn Sands Holiday Park in Wales

Looking back at a lost minigolf course.

Last week I asked "Where in the world was this crazy golf course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour?".

The answer was at Pontins Prestatyn Sands Holiday Park in Wales.

We first played the course in 2014 and revisited it in 2017 and 2018.

Sadly the Pontins Prestatyn Sands Holiday Park has now closed down.

We're glad we got to stay at the holiday camp and play the course on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour when we did.

Stonehenge The Big Mini Golf course in Hemsby, Norfolk

Did you know there's a Stonehenge-themed minigolf course in Hemsby, Norfolk?

Stonehenge The Big Mini Golf was the 174th course played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour in June 2010 when it was a 15-hole layout. We first visited it in May 2009 when it was a 12-hole course. It's now an 18-hole course.

Volcano Falls Adventure Golf now open at the White Rose shopping centre in Leeds

Volcano Falls Adventure Golf has opened a new venue at the White Rose shopping centre in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

The new Volcano Falls Adventure Golf location features two indoor adventure golf courses.

Both are 12-hole layouts.

One is called Volcano Valley, the other is Carnival.
