Glo Golf Boston opening in Boston, Lincolnshire

A new indoor glow-in-the-dark minigolf venue is opening in Boston, Lincolnshire.

The new Glo Golf Boston course is a sister venue to Glo Golf Peterborough.

Glo Golf Boston will be another new course for us to check out on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

We played at Glo Golf Peterborough in August 2021. It was the 969th course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour since September 2006.

New Mini Golf course at Bury Knowle Park in Oxford

Bury Knowle Park in Headington, Oxford has a new Mini Golf course.

The outdoor mini golf course can be found at Bury Knowle Pavilion at Bury Knowle Park in Headington, Oxford.

Bury Knowle Park used to be home to a Swedish Felt B-Run type of minigolf course. We played that course on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour back in August 2009.

Closed Crazy Golf at Forfar Loch Country Park

The old Crazy Golf course at Forfar Loch Country Park in Forfar, Angus, Scotland is being removed.

The course has been unused for several years.

It's always a shame to hear about minigolf courses closing.

The Crazy Golf course at Forfar Loch Country Park was on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour 'To Visit' list and it looks like this will soon become a lost course.

Adventure Golf at The Railway Inn in Westerfield, near Ipswich

We played the 9-hole outdoor Adventure Golf course in the pub beer garden of The Railway Inn in Westerfield, near Ipswich, Suffolk on a visit to the town to see family.

The course opened in March this year.

In our minigolf match-up Emily won with a round of 24 to my score of 27.

The Adventure Golf course at The Railway was the 1,064th course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour, the 1,007th we've been to in the British Isles, and the 575th course we've played on our travels since 2006. When combined with my brother Christopher and his family's branch of the tour we're currently at 1,111 courses visited overall.

Emily spotted a Crazy Golf course at the Abbey Gardens in Bury St Edmunds on a trip to the town in June. On our recent return to visit some of our family we noticed the course had moved locations within the park.

The Abbey Gardens Crazy Golf in Bury St Edmunds is open from April to October.

This particular Crazy Golf course in the gardens is the second we've visited there, the first was another pop-up back in 2008. That was the 71st on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. We've now been to 1,064 courses since 2006!

Emily swung by the Sneaky Links Crazy Golf in Bury St Edmunds on a flying visit to the town in June this year. We were recently back in the town visiting family and spotted some signs for the course while having a Bank Holiday wander.

What a sign to see

We recently visited family in Bury St Edmunds and on our drive out of the town we spotted a the sign for Northgate Video & DVD - a video rental shop!

This reminded me of small, independent video shops from back in the day

We've spent the last few years documenting the last traces of Blockbuster Video stores here in the UK, and we've found some other video shop signage on our travels. So it was brilliant to find Northgate Video & DVD in Bury St Edmunds was still trading. Unfortunately it was a Bank Holiday so the shop wasn't open, but we're planning to visit next time we're in the area.

Northgate Video & DVD in Bury St Edmunds is one of only a handful of video rental shops still in business in the UK. Long may it continue!

Magical Golf FX in Felixstowe

A revisit to the Magical Golf FX course at Mannings Amusements in Felixstowe, Suffolk.

We had a few games on the arcades at Mannings Amusements just before it closed for the evening after a visit to Beach Street on a recent return trip to the seaside town. The indoor crazy golf course is one of our most visited courses as we've spent so much time in Felixstowe over the years.

A revisit to the Adventure Golf course on Sea Road in Felixstowe, Suffolk.

We swung by the Adventure Golf course on Sea Road in Felixstowe on a recent return trip to the seaside town. The 9-hole outdoor course is very likely our most visited course as we've spent so much time in Felixstowe over the years.

There have been plans for the course to be removed and replaced with houses, so it was nice to see it was still there.
