4D Golf - Glow-in-the-Dark Adventure Golf in Castleford

Did you know there are two 4D Cosmic Golf courses at Xplore at Xscape Yorkshire in Castleford, West Yorkshire?

One is the Search for Atlantis. A 6-hole layout with an underwater theme.

The other is the Curse of the Mummy in 3D. A 9-hole course.

The answer was Congo River Golf in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Emily visited and played the course on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour in September 2023.

There are several Congo River Golf adventure golf courses in Florida.

From Crazy Golf to Padel at Fenton Manor Sports Complex in Stoke

The old crazy golf course at Fenton Manor Sports Complex in Stoke is being replaced with four padel courts.

The crazy golf course at Fenton Manor Sports Complex in Stoke has been out of use for quite some time.

We visited the crazy golf course at Fenton Manor Sports Complex in Stoke on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour back in 2019.

Getting unstuck from some of the theming was almost as tricky as some of my second (and third) putts on the very big greens!

The 18-hole outdoor Australian-themed adventure golf course is absolutely massive - like, really really really big for a minigolf course!

The theming is superb and very immersive. And the holes, obstacles and very large greens are a very tricky - but still fun - playing area to tackle.

Australian Adventure Golf at Adlington Golf Centre

For one reason or another it's taken us a while to get to the venue - even though it's only around 7 miles from us and just over the border in Cheshire, it's not a part of the county we've ever been to in the decade we've lived up here! We're glad we finally had time to make it there and handy that it was just a short drive from where we'd been in Poynton earlier in the afternoon.

The largest minigolf course in Europe.

The Australian Adventure Golf course at Adlington Golf Centre lays claim to the title of being the largest Adventure Golf course in Europe and features 18-holes of outdoor adventure golf that are played over 1500sqm of greens and a 10,000sqm site.

Crazy Golf at Fantasy Island on Canvey Island

A look at the Arnold Palmer Crazy Golf course at Fantasy Island on Canvey Island, Essex.

Last week I asked the question "Where in the world was this crazy golf course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour?".

The answer was the Arnold Palmer Crazy Golf course at Fantasy Island on Canvey Island in Essex.

At the time I visited and played the course in April 2009 it was a 9-hole layout - it had originally been an 18-hole course. We revisited the course in 2011.

It's now a lost course. However, Fantasy Island is still home to a crazy golf course - one we're yet to visit on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

Hastings Adventure Golf is home to three 18-hole outdoor minigolf courses - an Arnold Palmer Crazy Golf layout, an Adventure Golf course, and a Pirate Golf layout.

We've been to Hastings Adventure Golf a lot on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour and to play in many many many minigolf, adventure golf & crazy golf tournaments over the years.

I visited and played The Flintstones Crazy Golf course at Bowleaze Cove in Weymouth on the 11th October in both 2008 and 2009 while in town for the Weymouth Open Adventure Golf tournament at the Pirate Adventure Golf course at the nearby Sea Life Centre.

It's the only time I've seen a Flintstones-themed miniature golf course on my travels.

The Flintstones Crazy Golf course is almost as distant a memory as prehistoric times!
