Our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

The Adventure Golf course at The Railway became the 1,064th course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour, the 1,007th we'd been to in the British Isles, and the 575th course played on our travels since 2006.

We've now been to 1,099 miniature golf courses to date, with 1,038 of them being in the British Isles. Of these 1,099 we've been able to play 591 (some many many many times over).

Adventure Golf in Christchurch Park, Ipswich

There are plans for a new adventure golf course to be created in Ipswich's Christchurch Park.

Christchurch Park in Ipswich, Suffolk could be home to a new adventure golf course.

Plans have been submitted to create an outdoor 18-hole adventure golf course on an area of the park previously used as a croquet lawn.

Ipswich is Emily's home town and we visit family and friends there often, so it'll be interesting to check out the new course on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour when it's built.

My brother and his family visited the Africa Alive Zoological Reserve in Kessingland, Lowestoft, Suffolk at the weekend and spotted the mini golf course there.

The mini golf course at Africa Alive Zoological Reserve in Kessingland became the 1,140th visited overall on our combined Crazy World of Minigolf Tour since September 2006.

Street Golf Felixstowe at Manning's Amusements

The new Street Golf course at Manning's Amusements in Felixstowe, Suffolk is opening soon.

Street Golf Felixstowe is opening at Manning's Amusements in the seaside town and it is hoped to be completed and open this month.

We were in Felixstowe last month and swung by Manning's Amusements and Beach Street. The old entrance to the indoor course had been sealed off, with a new entrance to the course created at the rear of the building

Felixstowe will be home to two new 9-hole indoor Crazy Golf courses as Street Golf Felixstowe opens inside Manning's Amusements at Beach Street in the Suffolk seaside town.

Construction work is underway at the site of the former Magical Golf FX course.

We're looking forward to checking out the new Street Golf layouts when they open.

We've played minigolf at Manning's Amusements in Felixstowe a lot over the years. The first time we played there was back on the 19th November 2006 when it became the fifth course we ever visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. It was also the first indoor minigolf course we played.

Back then it was one of only two indoor minigolf courses in the whole of the UK!

We've now been to 1,083 courses (1,022 in the British Isles) and there are a lot more indoor minigolf venues than there were in the mid-noughties.

The Golf FX course at Manning's Amusements was a brilliant layout, with lots of optical illusions and practical effects. It was a unique course and ahead of its time with its sound and light effects. 19 years later and many many many courses later, very few we have been to have come close to capturing the fun of it.

Since our first visit to Manning's Amusements the course had a several upgrades, refurbishments and name changes - it was called 'Golf FX' when we first played and has been known as 'Magical Golf', 'Magical Golf FX' and 'Harry Putter and the Magical Crazy Golf'!

The green on the old first hole is still the only revolving one we've seen on our travels! It'll be interesting to see how the new course at Manning's evolves...

Hopefully the two new Street Golf courses being built at Manning's Amusements are as good as, or better than, the course they will be replacing.

Updates at Manning's Amusements and Beach Street in Felixstowe.

Over the last few years the team at Manning's have transformed the amusements and leisure area to incorporate Beach Street - a container yard for dining, drinking and entertainment.

You can get lovely sea views from some of the seating and we enjoyed meeting friends for tapas there on our last visit to Felixstowe. It was also fun having a go on some of the new arcade games.

There's an interesting looking minigolf course at the Broadland Sands Holiday Park. The outdoor dinosaur-themed adventure golf course looks unique, and has different coloured putting surfaces.

Playing at Sneaky Links Crazy Golf in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

We recently played the Sneaky Links Crazy Golf course in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

We met up with our friends Lucy and Paul in Bury St Edmunds last Saturday evening and played a round at Sneaky Links Crazy Golf on Brentgovel Street in the town.

Emily and I have both previously swung by Sneaky Links Crazy Golf but either haven't had time, or weren't there when it was open, so this was the first chance we'd had for a game.

Yes, this is crazy golf!

Sneaky Links Crazy Golf was the 1,055th course visited overall on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour, and the landmark 1,000th we've been to in the British Isles! It was the 582nd course we've played.

It's a unique indoor 9-hole crazy golf course and the layout is very tricky and frustrating in places!

Our fun - and very competitive - minigolf match had some ups and downs for each player and it was Paul 'The Challenger' English who emerged as the victor with a round of 24 shots over the 9-holes.

Emily and I tied for the runner-up spot having both scored 26 - I was happy with that after a disastrous 7 scored on hole 1!

Lucy 'The Blocker' Newton started her game the complete opposite of me, with an excellent hole-in-one on the first and ended with a round of 35.

Abbey Gardens Crazy Golf in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Last year Emily spotted a Crazy Golf course at the Abbey Gardens in Bury St Edmunds and we swung by again in August.

On our recent return trip to the town we had a game on the 9-hole crazy golf course.

The Abbey Gardens Crazy Golf in Bury St Edmunds is open from April to October. Interestingly the layout changes as the course is set-up and taken down each day!

In our minigolf match Emily scored the win with a round of 23 to my 24.

The Abbey Gardens Crazy Golf course in Bury St Edmunds was the 583rd played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour and the 1,054th visited overall since September 2006.
