Anyone for Tennis?
A look at the sports-themed Adventure Golf course at Romsey Rapids Sports Complex in Southampton, Hampshire.
There were lots of sports on offer as obstacles on the sports-themed minigolf course at Romsey Rapids Sports Complex in Southampton, Hampshire when we swung by for a visit on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour back in May 2019.

The podium was a nice obstacle to have on the final hole of the course
The 18-hole course was the 877th course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.
Check out the Romsey Rapids Sports Complex website for more information on the course and venue.

Crazy Golf on Grass at Marine Gardens in Worthing
Our friend and fellow minigolf aficionado Trevor 'Lord of Smeeth' Robertson recently sent us some photos of a new Crazy Golf course that has appeared at Marine Gardens in Worthing, West Sussex!
The Findon resident was on a trip to sunny Worthing and said that the new Miniature Golf course - combining Crazy Golf-style obstacles with a grass Putting surface - was located adjacent to the 18-hole Putting Green. That course became an unplayed one on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour back in 2010 as we arrived just after it had closed for the day.
Trevor is always keen to play a round of minigolf, but found that the new course is for children only. He did find out that rather than a golf ball players use a tennis ball!
Seeing the photos reminded us of the Crazy Golf on grass course that used to be in Cliftonville near Margate, Kent.
Worthing is also home to an 18-hole Mini Golf course at the town's Denton Gardens. Well worth a visit and a game or two.

Derelict tennis courts
On our travels around the UK searching for Mini, Crazy and Adventure Golf courses to play we've visited almost 600. Some however have been in a right old state.
These derelict, abandoned and unplayable courses are always a sad sight indeed. But on a recent trip to Ipswich we noticed it's not just facilities in 'minor' sports like Minigolf that suffer from neglect.
At Murray Park recreation ground in the Suffolk county town we found a row of tennis courts in a terrible post-apocalyptic condition.

Derick may be 'sexy', but the tennis courts definitely aren't

It's unfathomable that sports facilities can be left to go to ruin
