Graffiti Golf in Blackpool has closed

We were sad to hear that the indoor Graffiti Golf course on the promenade in Blackpool closed its doors on the 31st October.

We played the course in its original incarnation as Golden Isle Indoor Adventure Golf in September 2009, visited during its time as Merlin Pirate Adventure Mini Golf and then played the course in its final version of Pirate Graffiti Golf in August 2018.

We often visit Blackpool and the Graffiti Golf course was always busy with lots of people playing there.

A look at Graffiti Golf in Blackpool (September 2021).

We first played there back in 2009 when it was a Pirate Adventure Golf course. It was the 151st played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. Since then the venue has changed hands and look a couple of times. We played the Graffiti Golf version of the layout in August 2018 and swung by in May this year.

Ghetto Golf opening in Glasgow next month

The latest Ghetto Golf venue is opening in Glasgow in July.

The 18-hole indoor crazy golf course will be opening on Lancefield Street in Glasgow city centre.

Ghetto Golf Glasgow is the latest location for the minigolf brand, following sites in Toxteth, Liverpool; Digbeth, Birmingham and Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne.

We passed by the Graffiti Golf course on Blackpool prom on our recent trip to the seaside resort.

The 22nd May is considered to be Pac-Man's 'official' birthday as the game was first released in Japan on that date.

I like to celebrate the brilliant video game character as often as possible!

We were recently in Blackpool for the first time since last year and swung by Graffiti Golf course on our walk along the prom.

We first played the course back in 2009 when it was a 'normal' indoor Pirate Adventure Golf course. It was the 151st played on our travels. Since then the venue has changed hands a couple of times. In 2016 it was a Merlin Pirate Adventure Mini Golf course.

We played the Graffiti Golf version of the layout in August 2018.

While on our first walk in Manchester city centre for quite some time on Saturday Emily spotted this piece of Simpsons graffiti high above Deansgate.

We recently spotted some Itchy & Scratchy graffiti on the Fallowfield Loop in Manchester and last August we saw this Simpsons graffiti in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Today is National Video Game Day.

New Ghetto Golf venue could be opening in Sheffield.

Plans for a new Ghetto Golf indoor crazy golf course in Sheffield have been submitted.

The Ghetto Golf course in Byker, Newcastle was the 920th we've visited

There are Ghetto Golf minigolf competitive socialising venues in Liverpool, Birmingham and Newcastle upon Tyne. The team at Ghetto Golf also have plans for courses in Leeds and Glasgow.

The Ghetto Golf course in Sheffield is the third new course I've heard about during the pandemic. The others are a replacement for the old course in Andover, Hampshire and a new indoor minigolf course at the Bullring in Birmingham.
