There will be a Mini-Golf course at the new Netflix House at the King of Prussia Mall in Philadelphia, USA

The first of three planned Netflix House locations will have a mini-golf course inside it.

The new Netflix House at the King of Prussia Mall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA opens on Wednesday 12th November 2025.

About Netflix House.

Netflix House is a new entertainment concept from the streaming service, with the physical locations offering people the chance to play and experience branded activities based on TV and film properties.

The first two Netflix House locations are planned for Philadelphia and Dallas in 2025, with a third venue opening in Las Vegas in 2027.

Netflix House is the latest branded entertainment centre that aims to bring together multiple games and activities under one roof.

Top 9 mini-golf at Netflix House

The Netflix House mini-golf at the King of Prussia Mall in Philadelphia will be a high-tech course called "Top 9" and feature nine holes inspired by fan-favourite stories.

One of those hole designs has been announced to be WWE Raw-themed!

Other Netflix shows to be featured on the indoor mini-golf course at Netflix House include Stranger Things, Bridgerton and Squid Game.

It'll be interesting to see what the location looks like and how the mini-golf course plays. I wonder if there are future plans to roll-out Netflix Houses in other countries too...?

Find out more.

Street Life event in Ashton-under-Lyne

A look at the Street Life event in Ashton-under-Lyne.

We attended the free Street Life event in Ashton-under-Lyne on Saturday and had a superb time.

It was the first time I've been INSIDE a DMC DeLorean!

The community event saw the town centre come alive with a real mix of pop culture events, activities and attractions!

I'm a BIG fan of pro-wrestling, but it was the first time I've seen a show live outdoors - and in the morning!

We visited and played a round at Teezers Retro Golf in Coventry on Easter Sunday back in 2019.

The Cereal Killer Cafe in Birmingham

While on a recent trip to Birmingham I spotted the Cereal Killer Cafe on the link between New Street Station and the Bull Ring shopping centre!

It's full of great retro items from the 80's and 90's.

While I couldn't eat any of the (gluten-full) breakfast cereals, I could buy some of the great merch there

And there's a Simpsons arcade cabinet at the cafe - it's a classic game and one I've been playing since 1992!

I've been trying to complete the game for 25 years and I finally achieved it at the Cereal Killer Cafe (thanks to the Free Play)

How much does this guy weigh?

How much does this guy weigh?

As a fan of Wrestling I recently enjoyed re-watching the 1994 WWF King of the Ring Pay Per View event on VHS. It stands out as a great WWF PPV show for a number of reasons - Owen Hart winning the tournament being one of them. But the best part of it in my mind is that one of the commentators for the event was a Baltimore Colts American Football Legend, one Art Donovan. The fact was he knew very little about professional wrestling, the WWF or the wrestlers involved in the show. This, combined with one of his fellow commentators, WWE Hall of Famer Gorilla Monsoon, ignoring his questions for most of the show. For fans of wrestling (and Wrestlecrap 'quality' stuff) then I highly recommend you dig out a copy of the show.

If you've got 12 minutes to spare/waste then check out this YouTube video showing the 'highlights' of Art Donovan's WWF commentating career!

After watching the tape I headed online for more info on the event, why Art was booked, and who exactly was Art Donovan! My search led me to a number of sites, one of which is the brilliant "How Much Does This Guy Weigh?" blog by Art0Donnell. The name of the author of the site is a play on words based on Gorilla Monsoon's incorrect introduction of Art Donovan on the show (he called Art, "Art O'Donnell". Not a good way to start off a broadcasting relationship). Check out Art0Donnell's blog post about Art Donovan at "King of the Ring 1994: Enter Donovan".

The Art0Donnell blog is full of brilliant old school wrestling reviews and nostalgia and other stuff. As a big fan of underdogs (those loveable Ham & Eggers) one of my favourite posts is of "Jobbers of '93", which gives a rundown of all the enhancement talent local athlete jobbers that 'competed' on WWF Monday Night Raw in 1993! Brilliant stuff.

Attending a Wrestling event for the first time in five years!

Last Friday night I headed to a Power Trip Wrestling event in Luton. I haven’t been to a Wrestling event since I went to the WWE TV Tapings for ECW, Raw and Smackdown at Earl’s Court back in April 2007.

I used to be a big wrestling fan and a bunch of us used to go and watch a lot of the All Star Wrestling shows back in Oxford in the 90’s. Nowadays I’m more likely to fast forward WWE Superstars and the WWE Experience but as it was PTW’s 5th Birthday show I thought I’d check it out.

I wasn’t disappointed, it was really good fun!

My favourite match saw El Technico Supremo (a Hulk Hogan-inspired Mexican wrestler gimmick – with an Italian accent) take on Shane Stevens in a great battle which was a mixture of some hard hitting action, high spots and comedy. It had the near capacity crowd of over 50 people cheering loudly. You can watch the match on the PTW YouTube Channel.

The rest of the card saw a mix of tag-team and singles bouts, along with a 10-man Battle Royal and a PTW World title match between 'Sexy' Zizou Middoux w/ the PTW Wildcard Champion 'Perfect' P.T. Player vs. 'The Renegade' Marcus Phayer. I also enjoyed the opening bout between Chris Sharpe and the dastardly heel 'The Earl of Excellence' Robert Rochester-Rose!

The PTW show was raising funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust and was great fun and well worth the £5 entry fee for a good two and half hours of wrestling!
