Entries are now open for the 2026 World Crazy Golf Championships to be played at Hastings Adventure Golf in Hastings, East Sussex.

Today, Monday 7th July, marks the opening of entries for the 2026 World Crazy Golf Championships at Hastings Adventure Golf.

The major miniature golf tournament returns for its 23rd edition from the 5th to 7th June 2026.

The World Crazy Golf Championships began in 2003 and has been held at Hastings Adventure Golf every year, except 2020 when the event was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic). The current champion is Marc 'The Force' Chapman who is enjoying his fifth reign as world champion.

PIAG Open Championship 2025

The Paradise Island Adventure Golf Open Championship returns this month.

Your chance to win six months of unlimited adventure golf and the PIAG Open trophy.

The PIAG Open tees-off on Thursday 17th July, with Paradise Island Adventure Golf courses around the UK offering players the chance to enter the event when they play a round at a PIAG course.

We've used several apps to keep the score in our games on our travels to 1,083 courses on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

We've seen several venues have introduced a mobile app to compliment or replace the traditional paper scorecard. Some of these apps are really good and help to enhance the experience.

We're still fans of pencil and paper to score our rounds and have amassed a large collection of scorecards from our travels. That said, when we find an app that works well we're more than happy to download and use it. We've found the best ones are at courses that have both traditional and digital options for marking your scores as it keeps everyone happy.

Glow Golf at Jump In Adventure Park in Elstree

You can find a Glow Golf course at the Jump In Adventure Park in Elstree.

There's a new Glow Golf indoor minigolf course at the Jump In by AirHop venue in Elstree, Hertfordshire.

I recently found out that AirHop adventure and trampoline parks have a minigolf course at the Elstree location in Hertfordshire.

The indoor Glow Golf layout has a landmark theme, with holes featuring city backdrops from around the world.

The Glow Golf course opened at Jump In Adventure Park Elstree in June.

The venue also opened a new Laser Force arena at the same time!

The Puzzle Room - Cannock is refurbishing the minigolf course at the venue in Cannock, Staffordshire.

The Puzzle Room - Cannock will soon have an upgraded indoor minigolf course, with the 9-hole Carnival Crazy Golf opening on Monday 21st July.

Rivals Social is opening in Canterbury, Kent.

A mini golf course will be part of the new Rivals Social venue in Canterbury, Kent.

The new Rivals Social indoor entertainment centre in Canterbury will be home to an interactive mini golf course as one of the attractions on offer at the venue.

Rivals Social is also planned to have AR-enhanced tenpin bowling, escape rooms, AR darts and more at the site in Wincheap, Canterbury.

The Rubbish Seaside Book Launch

The Rubbish Seaside Book Launch is taking place in Leeds.

Rubbish Seaside, the new book by Jack Hurley (aka Loud Ribs), is being launched in Leeds on Thursday 10th July.

You'll be able to get your copy of Rubbish Seaside at the book's launch at Indie Makers in the Leeds Corn Exchange between 6pm and 8pm on Thursday 10th July.

We were immortalised on a piece of Filey artwork by Jack as part of his tongue-in-cheek, affectionate and characterful Rubbish Seaside 'Dystopia-on-Sea' collection!

New minigolf plans for Guildford

There are plans for a new Puttify mini golf course in Guildford, Surrey.

Guildford Spectrum, Guildford Lido and Ash Manor Sports Centre will be coming under new management this year as part of the management and delivery of services at a range of leisure facilities in Guildford, Surrey.

The new operators - Freedom Leisure - have proposed the introduction of a new Puttify mini golf course as part of their investment plans.

About Puttify Mini Golf

Puttify Golf is a new type of indoor, interactive mini golf course. You can find out more about Puttify Golf on the Greenspan website.

Where can you find Puttify courses

There are currently Puttify mini golf courses at Bath Sports and Leisure Centre and Center Parcs Woburn Forest.

We've not been to Bath in a long-time, we'll have to swing by the leisure centre to check out the Puttify course next time we're there.

Minigolf at Guildford Lido

We've visited Guildford several times on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour over the years. One of the crazy golf courses we've visited, but never been able to play, is the outdoor one at Guildford Lido.

With the new operators looking to improve the venues and extend the opening hours, it'll be interesting to see if the outdoor minigolf course at Guildford Lido stays, and whether it'll be more accessible than it has been in the past.

Crazy Golf at Little Links Golf in St Annes on the Sea

A Crazy Golf course makeover in St Annes on the Sea.

The Crazy Golf course at Little Links Golf in St Annes on the Sea has been refurbished.

The 12-hole Crazy Golf course at the Little Links Golf in St Annes on the Sea on the Fylde coast has received a spruce up and is now open to play.

Little Links Golf is also home to an 18-hole Par-3 Pitch n Putt course and an 18-hole grass Putting Green.

I got to see a DeLorean time machine at MediaCity in Salford in March 2020

We found a (now lost) video rental shop in Little Lever, Bolton in October 2020. It was stocked with loads of VHS tapes - including Back to the Future Part II. It was like stepping back in time!

I got to see my first DeLorean in real life at the Didsbury & South Manchester Car Show in Didsbury Park in July 2019
