From Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th October, Mulligan’s Guildford is hosting the BIG Sports Weekender, with live sport, 50p wings, bottomless fries and one of the town's cheapest pints of Guinness, plus the chance to win Premier League tickets.

From the 3rd to the 5th of October, Mulligans Guildford is launching the BIG Sports Weekender, where sports fans of all ages can catch all major games on the venue’s 100" TV screens, enjoy food and drink deals, and enter a draw to win Premier League tickets as well as more epic prizes!

In addition to the usual games offered at the venue, such as crazy golf and electro-darts, Mulligans Guildford will be showing a variety of live sports during the BIG Sports Weekender. On Mondays, guests can get their hands on two burgers for just £20.

New minigolf plans for Guildford

There are plans for a new Puttify mini golf course in Guildford, Surrey.

Guildford Spectrum, Guildford Lido and Ash Manor Sports Centre will be coming under new management this year as part of the management and delivery of services at a range of leisure facilities in Guildford, Surrey.

The new operators - Freedom Leisure - have proposed the introduction of a new Puttify mini golf course as part of their investment plans.

Where can you find Puttify courses

There are currently Puttify mini golf courses at Bath Sports and Leisure Centre and Center Parcs Woburn Forest.

We've not been to Bath in a long-time, we'll have to swing by the leisure centre to check out the Puttify course next time we're there.

Minigolf at Guildford Lido

We've visited Guildford several times on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour over the years. One of the crazy golf courses we've visited, but never been able to play, is the outdoor one at Guildford Lido.

With the new operators looking to improve the venues and extend the opening hours, it'll be interesting to see if the outdoor minigolf course at Guildford Lido stays, and whether it'll be more accessible than it has been in the past.

Mulligans Guildford will install golf technology which will track each shot, across 18 exciting, themed holes. The market-leading tech will eliminate the need for score cards and generate chances for players to win a supershot points booster by trying their luck at trick shots.

The two 9-hole courses will be based on Night Life and Street Life, with themes including disco. Complete with glitter balls and a disco wall for photo opportunities, the holes will be a nod to Guildford’s iconic party past including the famous Cinderella’s nightclub, which formerly occupied the site. A look back at our visit to the Crazy Golf course at Stoke Park in Guildford, Surrey on National Miniature Golf Day in 2016.

Back in 2008 the Crazy Golf course in Guildford's Stoke Park became the 75th course played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. Our visit this time was as part of the Surrey Invitational Minigolf Tournament that took place on National Miniature Golf Day 2016.

The Swedish Felt B-Run course used to be a 12-hole layout. In 2016 it had grown to be a full 18-holes, and had a very different playing surface - with astroturf 'grass' and raised 'bunkers'.
