King Pins opening in Bristol and Glasgow

New King Pins tenpin bowling & entertainment centres are opening in Bristol and Glasgow.

The two existing locations - both in Manchester - are home to indoor mini golf courses, so it'll be interesting to see if the new King Pins also have mini golf on offer when they open.

My brother Christopher and his family had a holiday in Türkiye last month and spotted this Mini Golf course at Club & Hotel Letoonia.

New Golf Fang crazy golf venue in Bristol

Plans are moving ahead with the new Golf Fang indoor minigolf venue in Bristol.

A new Golf Fang indoor minigolf course is planned to open in Bristol this year.

You can currently find Golf Fang indoor crazy golf venues in Liverpool, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Sheffield and Cardiff.

Adventure Golf at Willows Activity Farm in St Albans

A new outdoor Adventure Golf course is opening at Willows Activity Farm in St Albans, Hertfordshire.

The new 9-hole Adventure Golf course opens at Willows Activity Farm in St Albans tomorrow, Saturday 20th July.

It was brilliant watching Jaws at the cinema this evening.

We were lucky that our local Super Cinema and Variety Theatre, The Plaza in Stockport held a special screening of the classic.

A revisit to the Prestatyn Crazy Golf course.

I revisited and replayed the excellent Prestatyn Crazy Golf in Prestatyn, North Wales on National Miniature Golf Day in May.

I managed to capture this shot of the superb course and its classic crazy golf colours during a gap in players on the course during a busy and very warm summer afternoon

The course was originally the 147th played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour back in 2009.

As one of our local seaside towns we used to head to Prestatyn a few times a year. We went there in December 2021 during the pandemic and before that the last visit was in June 2019! Where's the time gone since then!

The Prestatyn Crazy Golf is one of our favourite courses and is an excellent Arnold Palmer Putting Course.

I very much enjoyed my two rounds on the 18-hole layout and scored a 40 (+4) on each round. Not too bad considering how rusty my putting is!

Pontins Prestatyn Sands

I stopped off at the Pontins Prestatyn Sands holiday park back in May while en route to the Crazy Golf course in the seaside town.

We'd visited three times in recent years as part of the Holiday on the Buses fan club events held there.

The Holiday on the Buses Weekender 2014 at Pontin's Prestatyn Sands allowed fans of the series and films the opportunity to stay at the camp, meet fellow fans and go on a number of mystery tours of filming locations!

The Open has teed-off - the PIAG Open Championship 2024

The Paradise Island Adventure Golf Open Championship returns.

The PIAG Open tees-off today (Thursday 18th July), with Paradise Island Adventure Golf courses offering players the chance to enter the event when they play a round at a PIAG course.

The PIAG Open Championship is taking place across Paradise Island Adventure Golf courses between Thursday 18th and Sunday 21st July.

The Paradise Island Adventure Golf brand has eight venues in England and Scotland. The PIAG locations can be found at Cheshire Oaks, Derby, Glasgow, Livingston, Manchester, Plymouth, Rushden Lakes and Sheffield.

Adventure Golf in Carmarthen

An Adventure Golf course will be part of a new health and wellbeing hub in Carmarthen, Wales.

The venue will be created in the former Debenhams store and is planned to open in 2026!

The Adventure Golf course will be one of several activities available at the location along with go-karting.

Art & Putt Pop Up Mini Golf at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth

Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, Hampshire will be home to a Mini Golf course this summer.

Art & Putt Pop Up Mini Golf will open on Saturday 3rd August and run until Monday 2nd September.

The art-themed miniature golf course will feature holes and obstacles paying homage to famous artists.

There will be a Mini Golf course at the Fayre on the Square in Salisbury, Wiltshire this summer.

Fayre on the Square runs from Saturday 20th July until Sunday 1st September.

Seaside Mini Golf at Dalton Park

There will be a pop-up Seaside Mini Golf course at Dalton Park outlet shopping centre in Murton, Seaham, County Durham this summer.

The free Mini Golf activity will be taking place from Monday 29th July to Sunday 4th August.
