There's a pair of Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm-Flailing Tube-Men in Felixstowe, Suffolk.

Our friend Sophia Cook spotted these two Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm-Flailing Tube-Men on a recent trip to Felixstowe.

I don't often need another reason to visit Felixstowe - it's probably our most visited seaside - but now I have two! I'm looking forward to finding these airdancers later this summer.

Last year I spotted a piece of inflatable advertising at the Super Shine Hand Car Wash in Bredbury, Stockport. On a recent drive to Hyde I noticed that the red and yellow inflatable character had changed to a blue and white one!

While it's not an airdancer (aka a 'wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube-man' - my favourite type of inflatable advertising) it's still fun to see it flagging down passing drivers to get their cars cleaned.

There's a Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man on one of the holes at The Clubhouse Stoke Crazy Golf course in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Crazy Golf at The Clubhouse Stoke in Newcastle-Under-Lyme

A visit to the The Clubhouse Stoke in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

While travelling to Leicester last Thursday we made a stop in Newcastle-Under-Lyme to play the new Crazy Golf course at The Clubhouse Stoke.

The 18-hole indoor minigolf course was the 925th we've visited and 527th played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour since September 2006.

It was the first Crazy Golf course we've played that had a Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man on it!

Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man on the Isle of Wight

Windy Man Air Dancer spotted in Ryde on the Isle of Wight.

Our friends Karl and Sophia spotted a Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man during their holiday on the Isle of Wight and sent along a snap to add to my 'collection'!

I've only seen this type of Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man at ground level once before. That one was in Flimwell, while en route to Hastings for the World Crazy Golf Championships in 2012. The only other time I've seen the blue Air Dancer was above a shop on the seafront at Bridlington in 2015.

Inflatable advertising man at United Carpets and Beds

While driving out of the Borough for a weekend away in Hastings we spotted a great piece of inflatable advertising at United Carpets and Beds on Buxton Road in Hazel Grove, Stockport.

While the United Carpets and Beds inflatable is not of the wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube variety he is still attention grabbing

It's the second inflatable spotted since we moved to Stockport. Last Christmas I saw a Santa Claus wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man advertising the sale on at Terry's Fabrics in Cheadle Heath.

On our recent roadtrip we saw a couple of other interesting ways to advertise beds. Vic Smith Beds in Enfield is currently using a tank on his roadside advertising on the M25, while Sussex Beds in Bexhill is using a dinosaur outside their store to entice people in.

We've spotted a lot of inflatable advertising and wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube men on our travels over the years. Unfortunately I haven't had a need to hire or buy a wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man for my own marketing business. Not yet anyway...

While in Blackpool we spotted another piece of inflatable advertising for the 'collection'...

Except for the fact it's not a wacky waving type of inflatable arm flailing tube man, this one has it all. A BIG clown advertising bingo at the seaside! Marvellous.

On our travels we've spotted quite a few airdancer advertising inflatables, ranging from the wacky waving ones, to more static characters and mascots.

Driving home from work the other evening I had to take a detour through Luton town centre and spotted a sight that brought a smile to my face. I knew I'd have to head back in the daylight to get a snap of me next to it! And so I did.
