Putt Club Crazy Golf at London Docklands

There's a new Putt Club indoor minigolf course opening in London this month.

The team at Putt Club are rolling out their third venue following Hull and Watford with a new location opening in London's Docklands on the 11th June.

New Puttstars minigolf opening in Harrow

There are plans for a new Puttstars minigolf venue to open in Harrow, London.

There are Puttstars locations in Leeds, York and Rochdale and in addition to the new Harrow site there are plans for a further eight Puttstars courses to open in the next three years.

Mini-Golf at Between the Bridges in London

London's South Bank will be home to a mini-golf course this summer.

A mini-golf course will be part of the new Between the Bridges food, drink, music and entertainment pop-up on the South Bank in London this summer.

The mini-golf activity will be provided by Plonk Golf.

Construction is underway on a new Boom: Battle Bar site in Wandsworth, London.

Boom: Battle Bars are home to a range of competitive socialising games including crazy golf (crazier golf), shuffleboard, axe throwing, darts and more.

There are Boom: Battle Bars in Norwich and Cardiff and plans for others in Liverpool, Glasgow, Oxford, Coventry, West Thurrock, Eastbourne, Aberdeen and Aldgate.

A new Boom: Battle Bar is opening at The O2 in London.

Minigolf at The O2

We played minigolf at The O2 back in December 2010. That was a pop-up Q-Golf minigolf course set-up for that December and January 2011. The layout was the 210th played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

New Boom: Battle Bar at Goodman's Fields in London

There are plans for a new Boom: Battle Bar at Goodman's Fields in Aldgate, London.

A new Boom: Battle Bar is planned to open at the Goodman's Fields home and leisure development in Aldgate, London.

The venue will be home to a Crazy Golf (Crazier Golf) course, axe throwing, shuffleboard and more. It is planning to open in the latter part of 2021.

Retailtainment and crazy golf

A number of shopping malls, town centres, retail parks and mixed-use developments are adding minigolf, crazy golf, adventure golf and other experiential entertainment and activity leisure offerings to their sites to attract and retain customers.

New Putt in the Park on Clapham Common

There are plans for a new Putt in the Park miniature golf venue on Clapham Common in London.

The proposed new Putt in the Park location will include two minigolf courses and café. The business will also be providing new toilet block to serve that area of the Common.

Pop Golf opening at Boxpark Wembley

A new crazy golf venue is opening in London.

A new pop music-themed minigolf course is opening at Boxpark Wembley in early 2021.

Pop Golf is being created by the team behind the Mighty Adventures brand of minigolf.

It'll be another new minigolf course for us to play on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour in the future.

PUTT PUTT #2 art installation Crazy Golf course in Croydon

A look back at the PUTT PUTT #2 art installation Crazy Golf course in Croydon. Played on this day in 2014.

The art installation miniature golf course was the 345th played on the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour and the 578th visited overall since September 2006.

We've now been to 955 courses in 14 years.

There's a free to play minigolf course at Bank Street Park in Canary Wharf, London.

The 9-hole minigolf course is open from Thursday to Sunday each week. For more info and opening times visit the Canary Wharf website.

Moby Golf in Romford, Essex

A look at the Moby Adventure Golf course at Golf Kingdom in Romford.

On 6th June 2014 we played Moby Golf adventure golf course at Golf Kingdom in Romford.

The 18-hole adventure golf course was the 561st visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. We've now been to 948 courses since 2006.

The inspiration behind the course is the legend of 'Moby Dick' - a whale that washed up nearby in Dagenham back in 1790!

The Moby Golf course is located Golf Kingdom and depending on who you ask is located in Romford, Chadwell Heath, Hainault, London and Essex!

For reference and ease of locating it the postcode for the course is RM6 6SB.

Failing that just look out for the GIANT whale and MASSIVE pirate ship by the main road.

Crazy Golf at The Grove Park in Carshalton, Surrey

A look at the Crazy Golf course at The Grove Park in Carshalton.

Many thanks to my friend and minigolf rival Seth Thomas for sending me a snap of the Crazy Golf course at The Grove Park in Carshalton, Surrey. He photographed the course while he was out on his daily exercise.

Obviously the course is closed during the lockdown.

We visited the 9-hole course late in the day on a Sunday in March 2013. It was closed then too.

It was the 527th course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. We've now been to 948 courses since September 2006.

The course was home to a Humpty

The course once appeared in an episode of British police procedural drama The Bill.

Plonk Golf in Shoreditch

A look at the Plonk Golf course in Shoreditch, London.

This time last year we were down in London and swung by the Plonk Golf course in Shoreditch.

It was the 860th course visited on the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour since September 2006.

The first Plonk Golf course we played was the pop-up at Efes Snooker Club in Dalston back in April 2015. Since then the team at Plonk Golf have opened a number of other pop-ups, as well as a few permanent courses.

I visited Camden Market while down in London earlier this week and noticed there was some work being done at the Plonk Crazy Golf course in the Stables Market.

Clarence Way Crazy Golf in Camden

Revisiting the Crazy Golf course on the Clarence Way Estate in Camden, London.

I was down in London for the day earlier this week and while having a wander round Camden I swung by the Clarence Way Estate to have a look at the Crazy Golf course there.

We first visited the course was back in October 2009. Emily worked close to it nearby Kentish Town until 2016 but we only ever played the course once - in 2012 - and only saw one other group playing the course - in 2011.

You can see what the course looked like in better weather conditions last April in my last blog post about the layout.

Crazy Golf at Coal Drops Yard, King's Cross, London

Information about the pop-up Crazy Golf at Coal Drops Yard in King's Cross, London.

Coal Drops Yard in London will be home to a pop-up crazy golf course from the 19th February to the 29th March.

The artist designed 9-hole course has been inspired by the rave culture in the King's Cross area back in the 1980's and 90's.

Players can tee-off on the course midday to 8pm Monday to Saturday, with games costing £5.

Artists Baker & Borowski have created the rave-themed layout.

Junkyard Golf's new London location is now open

Junkyard Golf is now open on Worship Street in London.

The team at Junkyard Golf have now moved locations in London with four new indoor Crazy Golf courses now set-up at a new site on Worship Street.

You can find Junkyard Golf courses in Manchester, London, Oxford, Leeds and Liverpool.

I played the courses at Junkyard Golf's former London location on Brick Lane in 2017.
