Congo Rapids Adventure Golf at Norwich Family Golf Centre

A visit to the Congo Rapids Adventure Golf course at Norwich Family Golf Centre.

In May 2017 we swung by Norwich Family Golf Centre to visit the Congo Rapids Adventure Golf course. Unfortunately on the day of our visit the course was too wet to play.

It's a nice looking course and we look forward to having a round there in the future.

The Congo Rapids Adventure Golf course was the 732nd visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

The Congo Rapids Adventure Golf course at Norwich Family Golf Centre is the sister course of the one at Ufford Park Hotel in Melton, near Woodbridge in Suffolk.

The old Crazy Golf course in Llanfairfechan, Wales

A revisit to the old Crazy Golf course in Llanfairfechan, Wales.

While en route to Caernarfon last January we revisited the seaside town of Llanfairfechan in Wales.

Back on our roadtrip around the Welsh coast in 2009 we'd called in to Llanfairfechan and found only holes 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 remained of the promenade Crazy Golf course.

Strangely on this occasion more holes were visible as holes 1 and 18 could be found along with holes 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18. There were also some traces of another two holes.



Shortly after our visit in January 2018 we heard that the course on was completely demolished. Very sad to hear, but I'm very glad we visited it on two occasions.

We think this was hole 1 - for some reason it wasn't fully on show the last time we were there! We also think the planters are also covering what were once holes

Welsh Dragon Adventure Golf in Rhyl

A look at the Welsh Dragon Adventure Golf course in Rhyl.

Last January we swung by the Welsh Dragon Adventure Golf course at the Rhyl Family Fun Fair on the promenade.

We first visited and played the course on our road-trip around the coast of Wales back in the summer of 2009. Back then it became the 146th course played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

We also visited the course in September 2014 and September 2017.

We were in Barnsley at the weekend and while exploring the town we spotted this bootleg Super Mario takeaway in the town centre!

It's not the first use of Mario we've seen on a takeaway as 'he' also has a branch in Blackpool.

Last January we swung by the Crazy Golf course at Drift Park in Rhyl.

We originally played the course on our road-trip around the coast of Wales back in the summer of 2009. Back then it became the 145th course played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. We also visited the course in September 2014 and September 2017.

Pitch & Putt Mini Golf in Caernarfon

A visit to the Pitch & Putt Mini Golf course at Coed Helen Park in Caernarfon, Wales.

Last January we had a short break in Caernarfon, Wales and while there visited the Pitch & Putt Mini Golf course at Coed Helen Park.

The course became the 795th miniature golf course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour when we swung by on the 13th January 2018.

Each tee has a hole marker
