I had heard via twitter that Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club in Felixstowe, Suffolk was home to a Putting Green/Course, so while visiting the seaside town we decided to head up to Golf Road to have a look.
The Club does indeed have a Putting Area, in fact it has two! One is an 18-hole Putting Green, which looks in excellent condition, the other is a 6-hole set-up next to the second of the Club's courses.
The BIG Golf course itself looks very interesting too, and there are some brilliant views from the course.

Irregular Mini Golf Tour Match at Mannings Magical Golf FX in Felixstowe, Suffolk
The second of the two remaining minigolf courses in Felixstowe, Suffolk left to play was at Mannings Amusements, where there is a 13-hole Magical Golf FX Indoor Adventure Golf Course.
In our Irregular Mini Golf Tour Match Ipswich's Bethany Harper picked up the victory with a score of 42, one-shot ahead of Rob Harper, and three-shots clear of me and Emily! A very well deserved victory indeed.
The course was originally the 5th we ever played on the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour!

Golf FX at Mannings Amusements now Magical Golf!

Minigolf in Felixstowe - Fantasia Golf - Plus Irregular Mini Golf Tour Result
On Saturday 7th May 2011 we headed to Felixstowe in Suffolk for a nice day out beside the sea, and to replay the two Minigolf courses there.
First up was the 9-hole Fantasia Golf 'Adventure Golf' course. The course was the 7th course we ever played on the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour!
In the four-player Irregular Mini Golf Tour event at the course new Irregular Mini Golf Tour member Karl Moles from Ipswich became a winner on his debut, with a well deserved one-shot victory over wily veteran - me! Ipswich's Annette Harper was third, with Kallum Harper fourth.
An excellent little 9-hole course with some tricky holes. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Colchester - Changes to the Minigolf, and a Dug-up Putting Course!
We revisited Colchester on Sunday 8th May 2011 to have a look and see if either the Minigolf or Putting Course was open in the town's main Park.
To our surprise the Putting Course has been dug up and replaced with a play area, while the Eternit Miniature Golf course has been updated with a new paint job and has been felted. However, the course was not open and was inaccessible!?

18 Minutes in Brightlingsea
Having previously spent 10 minutes in Canvey Island on our travels, followed by 45 Minutes on Barry Island, we visited Brightlingsea on the 8th May 2011 where we spent 18 minutes.
Not a bad spot, but not much to do. There were some very nice views out to sea and Mersea Island (another place on our 'to visit' list).

No Quasar Action at Colchester's Rollerworld
In what seems to be a continuing theme in our 'sporting entertainment' travels we headed to Colchester yesterday afternoon, and on visiting the Quasar Laser Tag centre at Rollerworld we found it didn't open until 7pm on Sundays!
Back in the very early days of my Blogging and when we were first heading off on roadtrips around the UK's seasides we headed to Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft, only to find each and every one of the Minigolf courses to be closed!

A great event with some fun bowling. The EcoStyle-CEuk Team may well be entering the third qualifying heat to attempt to qualify for the Ultimate Championship Final in November!

Crazy Golf at The Horse & Harrow Pub in West Hagbourne, Oxfordshire - April 2011
On our trip to Oxfordshire last weekend we made a revisit to the Horse & Harrow Pub in the village of West Hagbourne. We originally visited the Pub and its 9-hole Crazy Golf course on the 23rd December 2006 when the course became the 10th course visited on what would become our epic Crazy World of Minigolf Tour!
The weather on this visit in April 2011 was far better than the very cold and wet winters day all those years ago!
We didn't play the Crazy Golf course on this particular visit, but instead had a Pool match, which I won 2-1.
For other course visits check out the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour List.
The Village of West Hagbourne had also got into the spirit of the week, with St George's Day & Royal Wedding celebrations including St George (with the face of Prince William!) and a few Dragons around the village!

Abingdon Abbey Meadows Crazy Golf Course Replay on a Crazy World of Minigolf Tour Revisit
While in Abingdon last week for the traditional event of Bun Throwing, we headed to the Abbey Meadows for a replay of the 10-hole Crazy Golf course.
In our Irregular Mini Golf Tour Match-up Emily defeated me 26-29 in the 10-hole game.
Original Crazy World of Minigolf Tour Visit in August 2007 - when it became the 31st course visited on our Tour (despite it being the very first Crazy Golf course I ever played!?).
The course could be improved a lot by having felt layed on it to help the ball roll more smoothly on the surface!
The wonderful 'This Abingdon' Blog posted about 'The Saving of Crazy Golf' in Abingdon recently.
