A new football-themed Crazy Golf course has opened in Watford, Hertfordshire.
Check out the Football Fiesta website for more information. Looking on the site there are also Football Fiesta locations in Cardiff and Swindon, with the Swindon venue also home to a Football Crazy Golf course.
The new Par-59 Crazy Golf venue is opening in Cardiff next year.
Plans are still going ahead for the Par-59 Crazy Golf venue to open in Cardiff, Wales. The location was originally going to be at the Capitol Shopping Centre in Cardiff city centre, however plans have changed with the site now opening in a former nightclub on St Mary Street.
The Par-59 brand is being opened by footballer Gareth Bale and is set to open in Spring 2022.
Par-59 will feature three 9-hole indoor crazy golf courses along with a bar and restaurant.
A look at the 'Crazier Golf' course at Boom: Battle Bar in Cardiff, Wales.
Many thanks to my friend and minigolf rival Simon Brown who sent me some photos from his visit to play the 'Crazier Golf' course at the new Boom: Battle Bar in Cardiff, Wales.
The course differs from 'normal' crazy or minigolf (whatever that may be) and some of the holes include time limits, while others don't require the use of a putter at all!
Boom: Battle Bar in Cardiff's Brewery Quarter is the second indoor competitive socialising venue from the brand. As well as the crazy golf course you can play darts, axe throwing, ping pong, shuffleboard, VR games, arcade games and more there. The first Boom: Battle Bar opened in Norwich.
A new Boom: Battle Bar venue is opening at the Brewery Quarter in Cardiff.
The second Boom: Battle Bar is opening in Cardiff's Brewery Quarter later this year. The indoor competitive socialising venue will be home to a crazy course, darts, axe throwing, ping pong, shuffleboard, VR games, arcade games and more.
Two of the things that also caught my eye about this particular Boom: Battle Bar is that it will also offer players Bar Billiards and the German game of Hammerschlagen.
Bar Billiards is a brilliant old cue sport and quite rare to find outside of the south of England and the Channel Islands.
Hammerschlagen is a game where players compete to hammer nails into a wooden beam!
The 18-hole dinosaur-themed Adventure Golf course was the 916th visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. We've now been to 954 courses since September 2006.
The Tee-Rex Adventure Golf course was built by the team at HM Adventure Golf in 2017.
Missing Wales
We really miss being able to visit Wales and normally by this point in the year would've already popped over the border a few times to visit friends, explore some new places, go to the seaside and play some minigolf.
It'll be brilliant when it's once again safe for us to visit.
A visit to Treetop Adventure Golf at St David's shopping centre in Cardiff.
While visiting our friends in South Wales we swung by Treetop Adventure Golf at St David's shopping centre in Cardiff.
Walk this way...
The course has some of the best branding we've seen on our travels, with lots of colourful and fun signs pointing you in the right direction.
It's also the first course we've seen that has it's own button in the lift!
Level P3 for Putting fun
Treetop Adventure Golf is home to two 18-hole courses - the Ancient Explorer and the Tropical Trail. There's also a lucky last hole where you can try to win a free game.
We enjoyed a round with our old friends and minigolf rivals Cindy and Jas Kukielka and our new friend and minigolf rival Martyn Williams.
On the green of the volcano hole
The Tee Rex Golf course was built by the team at HM Adventure Golf in 2017 and we've been wanting to get along for a game for a while.
What's wrong with this picture?
We had a fun competition on the course and there were some very close scores on the tricky layout.
At the end of the round I came out the winner by one-shot on 40(+4). Martyn, captain of the Welsh Minigolf Club, and Emily both hit 41(+5) and required a play-off.
Receiving the trophy from Jas
The sudden-death play-off began on hole 1. After nether player could be separated after three plays of the hole the play-off moved to hole 2 where Emily shot a three and Martyn hit a two for the win.

Jas finished the game in fourth place with a round of 45(+9), with Cindy in fifth spot on 48(+12).
