The Putting Shed Mini Golf at Twenty Pence Garden Centre in Wilburton

There's a mini golf course at the Twenty Pence Garden Centre in Wilburton, Cambridgeshire.

Many thanks to our friend and minigolf rival Steve 'Sheila' Lovell for letting us know about the The Putting Shed Mini Golf course at Twenty Pence Garden Centre in Wilburton, Ely, Cambridgeshire.

Looking at the garden centre's website and YouTube video of the course it opened around 2021.

It's another new course for us to visit on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

Hazendal is a wine estate located in the Stellenbosch winelands, 30 minutes from Cape Town.

Martyn, of the Welsh Minigolf Club, took the photos of the course during a trip to Sweden to compete in the City Golf Tour 1 event last year.

We've played Golfbaren Sundbyberg's sister course in Vasastan, Stockholm on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

Toys R Us at Gateway Retail Park in Reading

Spotting an abandoned Toys R Us store in Reading, Berkshire.

We were surprised to see an old Toys R Us store while driving through Reading back in September 2022.

The shop unit at Gateway retail park looked to be in great condition and most of the signage and branding was still on display.

This particular branch of Toys R Us was only open for five months before the brand ceased trading in the UK.

Toys R Us closed its UK operation in April 2018.

It's been very interesting to find that there are still remnants of the brand on some retail parks in the UK and we've visited a number of these closed, abandoned, derelict and demolished Toys R Us locations on our travels.

My first job while at university in the year 2000 was as one of Geoffrey's helpers at the Luton store. I worked on the video game and electronics section.

Toys R Us at Cathedral Retail Park in Norwich

A look at the Toys R Us store at Cathedral Retail Park in Norwich, Norfolk in April 2022.

Toys R Us closed in the UK in April 2018.

We first visited the old Norwich store in August 2021.

My first job while at university in the year 2000 was as one of Geoffrey's helpers at the Luton store. I worked on the video game and electronics section.

The former store in Norwich is now being turned into a Home Bargains.

Atomic Golf in Las Vegas

A new miniature golf course is opening as part of a golfing venue in Las Vegas, Nevada.

A new indoor minigolf course is opening as part of the Atomic Golf venue in Las Vegas, Nevada

Atomic Golf opens next to The STRAT in Las Vegas this month.

The venue will be home to a variety of golf games, including the Putting District - which is described as a modernized putting game experience.

It'll be another new minigolf venue to visit on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour on our next next trip to the city.

Minigolf old and new in Bournemouth

Two minigolf courses in one spot.

Emily took this snap of two very different minigolf courses in one location while in Bournemouth, Dorset last May.

The old minigolf course on Bournemouth's Exeter Road has been derelict for quite some time. The Mr Mulligan's indoor adventure golf opened in 2018.

The holiday park is home to a 9-hole Jurassic Crazy Golf course, as well as a 13 hole Pirate Crazy Golf layout.

It's always interesting to see some of the more 'hidden' courses around the UK as generally holiday park courses are only accessible to guests staying at the resort. Although this isn't always the case, so it's worth checking if the holiday camp has a day visitor pass, or if the minigolf course is available to play for non-residents too.
