A look at a minigolf scorecard from Blackbeard's Adventure Golf in Hunstanton, Norfolk.

Many thanks to my friend and minigolf rival Steve Lovell for sending me this scorecard from Blackbeard's Adventure Golf in Hunstanton, Norfolk.

He played a few rounds there pre-pandemic.

When we visited Blackbeard's Adventure Golf in May 2011 the two 9-hole courses were called The Aztec Trail & Blackbeard's Adventure. On the recent scorecard they are named Pirates Course and Aztec Course.

I always thought it was a curious mixture of two adventure golf themes as you tend to find one or other, rather than both together.

The Aztec course was the 246th played and the Pirate course was number 247 on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

A look at the Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf course in Barry Island, Wales.

I replayed the Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf course in Barry Island, Wales a year ago.

The course was the 121st visited when we played it in August 2009.

I love visiting the seaside resort as my family had many happy holidays in Barry Island back in the 1980's and 1990's.

Barry Island was still recognisable from my time there 30 years ago, even though the holiday camp has been knocked down to make way for housing and a public car park.

Pirate Cove Adventure Golf course in Aberavon, Wales

The 12-hole Pirate Cove Adventure Golf course became the 885th course visited and 516th played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour when I was there to play in the 2019 Welsh Minigolf Doubles Championship last May.

Smugglers Bay Adventure Golf at Stonham Barns

A look at the Smugglers Bay Adventure Golf course at Stonham Barns.

Last April we revisited Stonham Barns in Suffolk to play the new Smugglers Bay Adventure Golf course.

In 2018 we'd called in to Stonham Barns Golf Park and seen the course under construction.

We've been to Stonham Barns a number of times before when visiting family in nearby Ipswich.

The old Crazy Golf course there was the 33rd played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour back in August 2007.

The new Smugglers Bay Adventure Golf course at Stonham Barns Golf Park became the 506th we've played and was the 815th visited overall.

Mr Mulligans Adventure Golf in Castleford

A look at Mr Mulligans Adventure Golf at the Junction 32 Outlet Shopping Centre in Castleford.

Last weekend we visited the leisure, entertainment and shopping area at Junction 32 of the M62 in Castleford, West Yorkshire.

You can find two 18-hole outdoor adventure golf courses at the Junction 32 Outlet Shopping Centre.

When we last visited Castleford in 2015 the courses were known as Pirate Island Adventure Golf.

The courses were the 592nd and 593rd visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. We've now been to 945 courses in total.

You can find Mr Mulligans courses in Basildon, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Castleford, Cheltenham, Milton Keynes - outdoors and indoors, Newcastle upon Tyne, Nottingham, Sidcup, Stevenage, Tonbridge and Woking.

Adventure Golf at the New York Thunderbowl in Kettering

There's a new indoor Adventure Golf course at the New York Thunderbowl in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

While planning a route to Ipswich we checked out some potential stop-off points and saw there was a tenpin bowling centre in Kettering that is also home to a recently opened indoor Adventure Golf course.

The Pirates Cove themed Crazy Golf course is a 9-hole layout.

We're looking forward to checking it out on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

During our summer holiday around the South West of England back in 2015 we visited 62 miniature golf courses on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

One of those courses was the Treasure Island Adventure Golf in Plymouth, Devon.

The course was the 626th visited on our travels.

Squeezing 62 course visits into two-weeks was a BIG task and it wasn't possible to stop at, or play all of the Mini, Crazy and Adventure Golf courses, or all the Putting Greens and Pitch & Putts we saw on the trip, or those we'd heard about beforehand.

On our holiday in Somerset back in November 2012 we had a round on the Pirate Island Adventure Golf course at Wookey Hole.

The 9-hole course was the 310th played and 514th visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.
