What is more appealing than a WARNING TOXIC WASTE sign. A perfect addition to the ludicrously crazy minigolf course at Junkyard Golf
Check out the Junkyard Golf website for more details on the Manchester and London courses. We've heard good things about the FOUR London courses the team at Junkyard Golf have created too.
A visit to Mr Mulligan's latest Adventure Golf course.
You can't miss the entrance to the Lost World Golf!
Last year we heard about a new minigolf venue opening in Stevenage and Mr Mulligan's latest course - Lost World Golf - opened at Stevenage Leisure Park earlier this year.
Mr Mulligan's Lost World Golf gets the thumbs up from the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour
We've been itching to get along for a game and earlier this week we had a round on the two nautical themed courses. We loved it.

The courses became the 685th and 686th visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour, and were the 403rd and 404th played.

Our group hit the Jungle Explorers course for round one and followed this with a game on the Ocean Adventurers layout.

There is some excellent theming throughout the indoor Adventure Golf venue - not least the giant wooden submarine that sits in the middle of the two courses!
Local competitor Simon Hinton and the wooden submarine
What an obstacle/hole/feature!
The inside of the submarine contains a very very tough hole to play!
There's a real mix of obstacles and hole types and there's even a section of holes where you are plunged into blacklight - one of my favourite types of minigolf environments to play in.

A pop-up indoor minigolf course in Orlando, Florida.
Emily's friends and colleagues were recently at the Electronic Retailing Association's Great Ideas Summit in Orlando, Florida and found there was a miniature golf course set up for a Tee Up Tuesday Evening Reception!
The minigolf layout looked very interesting. It certainly did look like a great idea!

Visiting an abandoned theme park and derelict crazy golf in Skegness.
Visiting another abandoned minigolf course
On Sunday 10 May 2015 we visited the Lost World Adventure Park on North Parade in Skegness. Unfortunately it'd closed down. The Lost World had been home to an indoor Jungle 3D Glow-in-the-Dark Mini Golf course.

At The Golfing Hole indoor Adventure Golf course in Swindon
On Sunday 11 January Emily and I visited Swindon, Wiltshire to play our first miniature golf course of the New Year. The location was The Golfing Hole Indoor Adventure Golf course on Mead Way.

My favourite hole at The Golfing Hole. Though quite what a green 'grass' minigolf layout with sandy bunkers is doing inside a 'factory' I don't know. Very crazy golf!

During our match we played through each of the obstacles, rather than taking the easier line and putting around the lumps and bumps of the greens. Some of the holes in the pipes were easier to get the ball into than others, with a few of them causing a lot of frustration. The result of our contest was a draw, with a score of 54 each.

Hole 13 leads into the blacklight area, while the tee-off point for hole 14 is inside
This hole was really difficult as the gap at the top of the ramp isn't much bigger than the golf ball

An 18-hole round of minigolf at The Golfing Hole Indoor Adventure Golf course cost us £7 each. Full price details and opening times can be found on The Golfing Hole Adventure Golf website.
In addition to the Adventure Golf course the indoor venue has a licensed bar, air hockey, pool tables and table football.
The loot, map and weapons safely stowed aboard the ship
The UV / Black Light indoor hole on the 12-hole Pirate Island Adventure Golf course at Hoebridge Golf Centre is a great hole-in-one opportunity, but unless there are fellow players inside to see the end of the shot you won't know if the ball is in or not until you step aboard the ship.
You begin playing the first of two minigolf holes aboard the pirate ship OUTSIDE. From the tee you have to successfully get the ball up the pipe beyond the blue crate. And if you're lucky you'll be rewarded with an ace

The outdoor Pirate Island Adventure Golf course at Hoebridge Golf Centre is open seven-days-a-week and will be open through the winter. Check out the website for opening times and prices.
