A look back at our visit to Mr Mulligan's Lost World Adventure Golf in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
We visited Mr Mulligan's Lost World Adventure Golf in Stevenage back in July 2016. It was the last course we visited while we still lived down in Luton.

We're big fans of minigolf competitions so it was brilliant to find out that Mr Mulligans Lost World Adventure Golf in Stevenage, Hertfordshire is hosting its first Business League Competition next month.
Teams of between 4 and 6 players will tee-off on Tuesday 4th February with the champions winning a corporate party for 10 and a trophy.

A visit to Mr Mulligan's latest Adventure Golf course.
You can't miss the entrance to the Lost World Golf!
Last year we heard about a new minigolf venue opening in Stevenage and Mr Mulligan's latest course - Lost World Golf - opened at Stevenage Leisure Park earlier this year.

We've been itching to get along for a game and earlier this week we had a round on the two nautical themed courses. We loved it.

The courses became the 685th and 686th visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour, and were the 403rd and 404th played.

The 16th hole in the Jungle
Our group hit the Jungle Explorers course for round one and followed this with a game on the Ocean Adventurers layout.

There is some excellent theming throughout the indoor Adventure Golf venue - not least the giant wooden submarine that sits in the middle of the two courses!
Local competitor Simon Hinton and the wooden submarine
What an obstacle/hole/feature!
The inside of the submarine contains a very very tough hole to play!
There's a real mix of obstacles and hole types and there's even a section of holes where you are plunged into blacklight - one of my favourite types of minigolf environments to play in.

New indoor Adventure Golf courses heading to Stevenage.
A brand new Adventure Golf course is heading to Stevenage Leisure Park in Hertfordshire. The 36-hole centre will have two 18-hole layouts with a nautical theme.
We've visited Mr Mulligan's Pirate Adventure Golf courses in Milton Keynes, Castleford and Woking. The Stevenage course will differ from the other sites as it'll be an indoor venue.

We're looking forward to visiting and playing the new Adventure Golf course in Stevenage when it opens in Spring 2016.
The exhibition charted holiday camps from their beginnings through to the heyday in the 1960's and 70's and also included a small section on Crazy Golf and Minigolf.
The exhibition has now closed, but if you're in the area Stevenage Museum is well worth a visit.
The Crazy Golf Museum's aim is to show visitors the history of the game of Miniature Golf, collections of scorecards, tokens, badges, scorecards, flyers, balls, putters, games etc. and act as the worldwide archive for Minigolf and Crazy Golf ephemera.
Stevenage Museum in Hertfordshire is currently running an exhibition about British Holiday Camps.
The exhibition, entitled "Morning Campers!" looks at British Holiday Camps through the years and has a number of displays and interactive elements, one of which is Crazy Golf!
The exhibition even has an interactive Mini Golf course to play.
The "Morning Campers!" exhibition at Stevenage Museum runs from the 16th of July until the 3rd of September 2011 and is well worth a visit.
Along with Tim 'Ace Man' Davies, I am a Curator (and 'Janitor') of The Crazy Golf Museum. The aim of The Crazy Golf Museum is to show visitors the history of the game, collections of scorecards, tokens, badges, scorecards, flyers, balls, putters, games etc. and act as the worldwide archive for Miniature Golf and Crazy Golf ephemera.
