The first minigolf courses we set out to find in Mablethorpe were at Queen's Park, where we found an 18-hole Crazy Golf, and a Putting Course in the middle of a Miniature Railway!
The course was the 228th played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.
The Putting was not yet open for the season so we couldn't play that, however, the Crazy Golf was open, and priced at only £1 a go we had a fun round in an Irregular Mini Golf contest. Emily won 47-48.
Photos of the Putting Course.
The Queen's Park Crazy Golf course has to be one of (if not the) best value for money Miniature Golf course in the UK at only a quid a round. The course also has some of the smallest holes/cups - making even the shortest of second Putts incredibly terrifying!

Left or Right? Minigolf Decisions in Mablethorpe!
After our visits to Skellingthorpe and Cleethorpes, and with three courses played on our Lincolnshire leg of our Road Trip, we headed to the next seaside - Mablethorpe.
The first decision on reaching the Sea Front was 'Which way first?'

Cleethorpes (Thorpe Park Haven Caravan Park) - Putting, Crazy Golf & Adventure Golf
The Haven Holiday Park in Cleethorpes - Thorpe Park - is home to a Putting Course, Crazy Golf and Adventure Golf. However, we didn't play any of them on our trip to the town.
The site does allow 'Day Pass' visitors access, but at £10.00 each and additional costs to play the courses (and lack of time to make good use of the other facilities on site) we decided to head off to Mablethorpe and beyond, on the next leg of the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.
On a side note - Petrol Station Company TOTAL and Haven Holidays are using Crazy Golf/Minigolf to advertise a promotion they are running!

Arnold Palmer Crazy Golf in Cleethorpes
A visit to the Arnold Palmer Crazy Golf course in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire.
The last of the Cleethorpes Minigolf courses we visited on Wednesday 18th May 2011 was the 18-hole Arnold Palmer Putting Course.
Unfortunately it was closed on our visit.
We'll be heading back to Cleethorpes again in the future, so hopefully we'll get a chance to play this example of my favourite type of Minigolf course then.

Terry's Traditional Crazy Golf and Putting in Cleethorpes
A visit to the Terry's Traditional Crazy Golf course in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire.
Terry's Traditional Crazy Golf & Putting Green (featuring 27-holes of Minigolf!) was unable to be played on our visit.
We're definitely going to be heading back to Cleethorpes again in the future as it was such a great seaside resort. So hopefully we'll get to play Terry's Crazy Golf & Putting Green then...

A visit to the Smallest Pub on the Planet
While we were visiting the great seaside resort of Cleethorpes in Lincolnshire, we went for a wander along the seafront and promenade, and found the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway. Unfortunately the line wasn't yet open for the season, and as it was early evening it wouldn't have been running anyway.
But we had a walk along besides the track to see what else we could find on our walk towards the Pleasure Island Theme Park.
What we found was The Smallest Pub on the Planet!
It's a great little Pub with loads of drinks and snacks on offer. They had 14 different Ciders on offer on our visit (of which 'Old Rosie' was sampled *hic*), and with a Folk & Cider Festival coming up on the 28th - 30th May 2011 they'll have 41+ Ciders to try!!!
It's certainly the smallest pub on the planet, but it has plenty of character, and a well stocked 'Games Room'.

The Pub, Coast Light Railway and Cleethorpes as a whole is well worth visit.
