As well as being the fourth course visited on the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour the visit was also when the second ever Irregular Mini Golf Tour competition was held - the Luton Invitational.
The event was played over 18-holes and we used the course par (54) rather than the, then unknown, BMGA Tour par of 36. We also played no maximum number of shots and Crazy Crazy Golf rules.
After some pretty dreadful rounds (by today's standards) it was Jo Tubby who won, with Emily second and me in third (and last) place!
1. Jo Tubby - 54 (par)
2. Emily Gottfried - 56 (+2)
3. Richard Gottfried - 62 (+8)
