The North Shore Crazy Golf course in Blackpool

A look at the North Shore Crazy Golf course in Blackpool.

The teams at Blackpool Fulfilling Lives and Blackpool and Fylde Street Angels have come together on a new project to refurbish and reopen the old North Shore Crazy Golf course in Blackpool.

The project will help homeless people in Blackpool by giving them the chance to work on the Crazy Golf course so it is playable and then staffing it for the season. It's a brilliant plan to give people the opportunity to receive work experience, while also bringing a disused minigolf course back to life.

We've visited the course a number of times over the years, but it was never open to play when we were there. We're really looking forward to playing the refurbished course.

Putters Adventure Golf now open at Superbowl Warrington

The new Putters Adventure Golf course is now open at the new Superbowl UK fun centre in Warrington.

The 12-hole indoor Adventure Golf course has a circus and funfair-theme and was designed and built by the team at Figurativ.

Crazy Golf and a Miniature Railway at the Royal Victoria Country Park in Netley, Southampton

Our recent trip to Southampton saw us visit 18 more courses, playing eight of them.

One of the courses we played was the 9-hole Crazy Golf course at the Royal Victoria Country Park in Netley, Southampton.

The course was the 879th visited and 512th played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

I scored a 20 in my round on the Crazy Golf course - 2, 3, 4, 3, 1, 1, 2, 2 and 2.

Pitch & Putt course at the On The Water Cafe in Southampton

A visit to the Weston Shore Pitch & Putt course at the On The Water Cafe in Southampton.

On our way from Netley to Southampton we drove through Weston Shore and were surprised to see a sign for a Pitch & Putt course on Weston Parade. We had to stop for a look.

The Pitch & Putt course can be found at the On The Water Cafe.

It looked like a nice layout, but sadly we didn't have time for a round on this trip.

The Weston Shore Pitch & Putt course at the On The Water Cafe in Southampton became the 880th course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

The Blackpool Pleasure Beach Adventure Golf course

A revisit to the Adventure Golf course at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

On Monday 20th May I was in Blackpool and swung by the Adventure Golf course at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

Going to the Blackpool Pleasure Beach Adventure Golf course always bring a smile to my face, as it was the scene of my victory in the Blackpool Pleasure Beach Open tournament in 2009.

As it was just before the season got underway the course wasn't open.

We first visited the course in 2008 when we helped to launch the course and competed in the inaugural Blackpool Pleasure Beach Open tournament. The course was number 44 on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.
