Adventure Golf at Dragonfly Leisure Midsomer Norton

A new Adventure Golf course is being created in Midsomer Norton, Somerset.

A new outdoor Adventure Golf course is opening at the leisure centre in Midsomer Norton, Somerset.

The 18-hole Adventure Golf course will have a 'coal' theme.

New Mini-Golf at Maidenhead Aquatics in St Albans

Plans for a Mini-Golf course at Maidenhead Aquatics in St Albans, Hertfordshire have been approved.

The new Mini-Golf at Maidenhead Aquatics is set to be an 18-hole outdoor layout with an aquatic-theme.

Fantasia Adventure Golf in Felixstowe is closing

Fantasia Adventure Golf in Felixstowe, Suffolk is going to be demolished.

The Sea Road Adventure Golf course in Felixstowe will be closed and the site turned into residential properties after plans were approved for the work to go ahead.

It's a shame to see minigolf courses close down. Fantasia Adventure Golf has always been fun to play.

It's one of our most visited courses and was originally the 7th we went to on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. We last swung by in August last year.

The course opened in 1997/98 and was one of the first adventure golf layouts to open in the UK.

Catching up on a Crazy World of Minigolf Tour course visit from the summer of 2021!

Time flies and while we posted about Emily's trip to the Isle of Wight back in June 2021 we didn't get round to covering the individual course visits fully at the time.

This is the Caddy Shack Crazy Golf course at Shanklin Seafront.

Emily first visited the course on the 12th June and returned to play the layout on the 18th June.

Caddy Shack Crazy Golf at Shanklin Seafront was the 548th course played and 960th visited overall on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

We've been to the Isle of Wight several times over the years and have been to most, but not all of the courses there. Some of the courses have changed over the years, with at least two of the courses undergoing refurbishments, and one changing twice since we first played it!

It's certainly interesting seeing the changes and developments on the island and we're looking forward to another trip there in the future.

We've now travelled to a total of 1,075 courses on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. Our adventures began on the mainland side of the Solent at Treasure Island Adventure Golf in Southsea back in September 2006.

Dino Islands Adventure Golf at Sandham Gardens in Sandown was the 547th course played and 961st visited overall on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.
