On my recent trip to Hertfordshire I made a quick detour visit to Verulamium Park in St Albans to take a look at the Rockin' Romans Golf course.

As it was a Friday and out of peak season the outdoor adventure golf course was closed.

Our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

Rockin' Romans Golf at Verulamium Park in St Albans was the 1,110th course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

It's actually the third miniature golf course we've visited on the same spot in the park on our travels! Back in 2007 I played a 12-hole course on the site, and in 2013 we visited a 9-hole course there.

Crazy Golfing in St Albans

We've visited two previous crazy golf courses in Verulamium Park. They used to be local layouts for us when we lived in Luton. The first of those was the 17th played on our travels. We've now been to 957 courses.

Roman Miniature Golf

It's always nice to see different themes in minigolf. We've played a Roman-themed minigolf course on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour before. That was the Wye Valley Miniatvre Golf course in Symonds Yat West back in 2010.
