A look at the mini golf course at Duinrell Holiday Park in Wassenaar, South-Holland, Netherlands.

My brother Christopher and his family recently visited Duinrell Holiday Park in the Netherlands, and while there swung by the minigolf course.

The minigolf course at Duinrell Holiday Park is of the Eternit Miniature Golf type, with the addition of felt / carpet.

It has an interesting arrangement with each of the holes / lanes set-up in a circle.

My brother Christopher, a charter member of the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour, and his family recently played the minigolf course at the Landal Holiday Park Het Vennenbos in the Netherlands.

The 18-hole course is of the 'eternit' miniature golf variety.

The course at Landal Holiday Park Het Vennenbos was the 1,131st course visited overall on the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

The course is described as 'Midgetgolf', this is a name minigolf has been commonly referred to as in the Netherlands since the 1930s.

Looking online, Flevo-Nature in Zeewolde is a naturist camping site. The minigolf course is no longer there.

The reverse of the card calls the game 'midget-golf', a name minigolf has been commonly referred to as in the Netherlands since the 1930s.

We played an around-the-world themed indoor minigolf course in Andover, Hampshire back in May 2019.

Each of the holes was themed after a different country. Hole 1 was the Netherlands.

The Glo-Golf course at the Riverside Bowl in Andover was the 882nd course visited and 514th played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. We've now been to 958 courses since September 2006.

We're yet to play in the Netherlands itself. However, my brother Christopher - a charter member of the tour - has played a Time Travel themed GlowGolf course in Amsterdam and swung by the Midget Golf course in Muiderberg.

Happy National Windmill Day

Today is National Windmill Day.

In addition to it being National Miniature Golf Day, today is also National Windmill Day.

National Windmill Day is a holiday in the Netherlands and actually takes place over two days on the second Saturday and Sunday in May.

Charter member of the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour Christopher Gottfried has visited another minigolf course while on holiday, this time in the Netherlands.

While cycling he spotted the flags and sign for the 18-hole Midgetgolfbaan De Leeuwenkuil in Muiderberg.

You can find the 18-hole Midgetgolfbaan De Leeuwenkuil at Nienhuis Ruyskade 3, 1399 GR Muiderberg, Netherlands. The course opened in 1967! Visit the course website for more information.

Christopher has now visited 27 courses on his own branch of the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. Emily and I have also visited eight of those courses, but 19 of the courses are from travels to other courses in the UK, Turkey, Majorca, Italy, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, France and Indonesia!

The combined total of the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour is now at 909 courses visited!
