While there do seem to be more and more places offering 'gluten free' options these days, there is still the risk of cross-contamination unless the place is 100% gluten free.

Thankfully there are some superb 100% gluten free restaurants, tea rooms, pubs and takeaways that we've found on our travels, including The Oxford Place in Leeds and Gloof in Soham, Cambridgeshire.

We also know about, but have yet to visit, 2 Oxford Place in York and Niche in London.
Luckily there is a gluten free deli opening up in Altrincham, Greater Manchester this Saturday. We're looking forward to checking out Off the Wheaten Track soon.

Many thanks to Emma Champion for letting me know about the Beyond Bread Bakery in London as it is also 100% gluten free.
Lucy at 35 in Ely is gluten free and vegan - they also have a fine cake selection and tasty mains on offer.

We visited the new 100% gluten free Off The Wheaten Track Deli in Altrincham on Saturday. The food was excellent. Check out my blog post from our visit.
It was nice to have a Sunday dinner at The Compass Inn at Winsor in Hampshire. The menu there is 100% gluten free.
Sadly The Eltisley in Cambridgeshire is no longer 100% gluten free.
Sadly 2 Oxford Place in York has now closed.
I heard via Gluten Free Al on Twitter that The Red Lion in Faversham, Kent has a 100% gluten free menu.
Gluten Free Al on Twitter has also found that Oscar & Bentleys in Canterbury, Kent has a 100% gluten free menu.
3 Squared Cafe in Manchester has rebranded and is now called The Remedy Kitchen.
We visited a few weeks ago and had a superb 100% gluten free meal.
