Today has been Flying Ant Day 2026!

Flying Ant Day 2026 struck on Wednesday 8th July as the ant colony underneath a tree stump in our garden in Stockport, England erupted with hundreds of flying ants in the early evening of the heatwave day.

It's so nice to see the Cherry Blossoms in bloom.

We're looking forward to seeing more while they last. And then spending as much time as possible out and about in the (hopefully) nice sunny summer weather this year.

As big fans of minigolf, and curators of the Crazy Golf Museum, it's always interesting seeing minigolf/museum crossovers.

The Moreton Arboretum is a tree-focused botanical garden and science center in Lisle, Illinois.

The outdoor tree-themed 9-hole pop-up minigolf course will be open from the 23rd May.
