Junglemania Adventure Golf in Farnham

A look at the new Junglemania Adventure Golf course in Farnham, Surrey.

Last month our friend, minigolf rival and fellow crazy golf adventurer Matt Dodd let us know about a new course opening near to him. The course is now open and he's been along for a round.

Junglemania Adventure Golf is an 18-hole jungle-themed course at Bowenhurst Lane in Farnham, Surrey.

Matt and Helen Dodd and their family have visited hundreds of courses on their travels. There are a number of courses they have played that we haven't got to yet, and vice versa. Together we've almost been to them all!

Matt tells me that the course plays very well and has a number of obstacles and hole designs he hadn't seen before on his travels.

We're looking forward to a future visit and a 'friendly' competitive round against Matt and Helen on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

Junglemania Adventure Golf opening in Farnham this July

A new Adventure Golf course is opening in Farnham, Surrey next month.

It's another new course for us to visit on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour when we're next down in Surrey. We haven't played a jungle theme for a while.

Jungle Adventure Golf in Shanklin Village

A look at the Jungle Adventure Golf course in Shanklin Village on the Isle of Wight.

My fellow minigolf explorer Matt Dodd sent me this photo of the new Jungle Adventure Golf course in Shanklin Village on the Isle of Wight on his visit to the island last summer.

Matt and his family have visited hundreds of courses on their crazy golf adventures and it's always fun to meet up with them for a game. Matt has managed to track down and play quite a lot of courses that we're yet to visit on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour!

Cash for Kids Adventure Golf Open tournament

Cash For Kids Adventure Golf Open at Jungle Safari Adventure Golf in Worcester.

A charity minigolf tournament will be taking place on the Jungle Safari Adventure Golf course at Ravenmeadow Golf Centre in Worcester on Friday 28th June.

As well as the overall Cash For Kids Adventure Golf Open Trophy there will be prizes for the most holes-in-one and other spot prizes.

The Crazy Golf competition is in aid of Free Radio Cash For Kids, a charity helping disadvantaged and disabled children across the West Midlands.

Crazy Golf in Stourport on Severn

The last stop on our mini road-trip around the midlands was in Stourport on Severn. Ahead of our visit we'd seen there were two miniature golf courses there - an interesting looking jungle-themed crazy golf and a grass putting layout - but when we arrived at Playland in Riverside Park we found another crazy golf course! A nice bonus.

The 9-hole Crazy Golf course at Playland became the 469th played and 789th visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

In our match-up on the course I won with a score of 25 to Emily's 29.

The grass Putting course wasn't open on our visit and so became the 790th visited on our tour.

In our match-up on the course we tied with a score of 36, with Emily scoring three holes-in-one to my two aces.

Well worth a play 

Stourport on Severn is an interesting town and well worth a visit. It has a seaside resort feel to it - dating back to its role as a day-trip destination for workers from Birmingham in times gone by. The colourful minigolf courses, variety of amusements, pubs and other facilities in the town make it a nice destination.

New Adventure Golf course in Leeds

New Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf course in Leeds.

The team at Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf are looking to open a new indoor course at The Cube on Albion Street in Leeds city centre.

There are currently Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf courses in Bristol, Liverpool and Brighton. We've played at the Bristol and Liverpool layouts on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour, while the Brighton venue is on our 'to visit' list.



Interestingly the two Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf courses on Madeira Drive in Brighton are built on the location of an old Adventure Golf course we have played.

We're looking forward to visiting and playing the new Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf course when it opens in Leeds.

Jungle Jim's Adventure Golf in Shanklin

A revisit to Jungle Jim's Adventure Golf course in Shanklin, Isle of Wight.

While on the Isle of Wight in October we revisted the 12-hole Adventure Golf course at Jungle Jim's on Shanklin seafront.

The course was originally the 64th played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour back in 2008.

Jungle Adventure Golf at Hersham Golf Club

New Adventure Golf course opening at Hersham Golf Club.

My friend, rival, sometimes team-mate and fellow minigolf blogger Oliver 'The Machine' Florence tipped me off about a new Adventure Golf course opening on his patch soon.

I hear the course is being built by City Golf, the team behind a number of other Adventure Golf courses in the UK and around the world. We've played quite a few on our travels and enjoy the testing and tricky layouts.

We're looking forward to giving the course a play on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. Perhaps we'll play for the Surrey Invitational Tournament or Oliver Florence Birthday Invitational titles on the new layout...
