'Homer Simpson' in Great Yarmouth
The chalkboard image of Homer Simpson that Emily spotted in Chicago reminded me of this 'Homer Simpson' we spotted in Great Yarmouth back in July 2016.

The Flintstones Crazy Golf in Weymouth
A look back at The Flintstones Crazy Golf course at Bowleaze Cove in Weymouth.
I was looking through some of the weird and wacky Crazy Golf courses we've visited over the years and found this snap of me playing a 'Flintstones' themed course back in 2009.
Fred and Barney look on as I tee-off in Weymouth |
The Flintstones Crazy Golf course at Bowleaze Cove was the 77th visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour back in October 2008. I played it while in town to compete in the Weymouth Open tournament.
We've now visited 905 courses on our minigolfing travels since September 2006.

'Homer Simpson' and 'Peter Griffin' in Chicago
Emily found this superb chalkboard sign while in Chicago last month.
Someone is obviously better at drawing Peter Griffin.

Bonder and Bort Simpson
I do like a good bootleg. This is anything but!
What a ludicrous piece of street art we spotted in St Annes on the Sea yesterday.

Caricatures by Howard the Celeriac
Howard the Celeriac – star of the eponymously named coeliac disease inspired comic strip website – recently put out a call for more suggestions for the site and also for fellow ‘Celeriacs’ (and ‘Gluters’) to send in their photos to be turned into caricatures.
As a big fan and contributor to the site I sent in a photo of Emily and I at Strokes Adventure Golf course and he turned it into this!
Brilliant.
Check out the Howard the Celeriac website where “All of your most painful gluten free moments pictorially represented for you in one place.”

Howard the Celeriac and the Special Steak
The excellent "Coeliac Cartoonist"(!) Howard the Celeriac has depicted a kind of amusing experience I had while dining out with friends following a Minigolf tournament!
You can check out the cartoon 'Special Steak' over on the Howard the Celeriac website.
Many thanks to my mate Brad 'The Fist' Shepherd - he's the Brussels Sprout - for creating the scene for me last year in Bristol. The git.

Regular Show & Miniature Golf
Just before Christmas one of my nephews told me to check out a cartoon on the Cartoon Network called ‘Regular Show’, so I did.
It’s brilliant.
The show followers two 23-year-old Park Groundskeepers, Mordecai and Rigby, and the many shenanigans they get up to as they try to avoid work and their angry boss, Benson. The pair enjoy slacking off, playing video games (on what looks like a Sega Master System 1), Zombies and Rock Paper Scissors, amongst other things!
The rest of the cast of characters on the show are a weird bunch too.
One of the episodes ‘Do Me A Solid’ features Minigolf (in an ironic sense).
I urge you to check out Regular Show, it’s anything but!
