Crazy Golf at Higher Bebington Recreation Ground

A visit to an abandoned miniature golf course on the Wirral.

On Saturday 22nd July we headed along to the Higher Bebington Recreation Ground near Birkenhead on the Wirral peninsula to track down a Crazy Golf course in the park. We did indeed locate the layout - and found it was a unique 15-hole Crazy Golf course!

The course became the 747th course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

These pictures are amazing We lived v near this park and remember well how busy the Crazy Golf was in the 70s
It was very nostalgic to see it in your great feature. I popped into the park last April having driven up from London but didn't think of tracking down the remains Thankyou

Hi. Thank you for your comment. It was certainly an interesting and unique course to visit.

The course has recently been refurbished and reopened, and has some colourful artwork on it.
