Miniature Golf Day 2014 is an 'unofficial' holiday and the third day of the year marked in the calendar to celebrate the great game.
The others are 'National Miniature Golf Day' (held annually on the second Saturday of May) and 'Minigolf Tag' (Minigolf Day in Austria).

This year the 18-hole Pirate Adventure Golf course in Hastings, East Sussex is the host venue for the BMGA British Open which concludes on Sunday 21 September - aka Miniature Golf Day.
The Hastings Pirate Golf course was the 219th played on the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour in 2011.

The quasi-official holiday day - National Miniature Golf Day 2014 - was on 10 May this year, the same day as Day 1 of the BMGA British Minigolf Championships held at Strokes Adventure Golf course in Margate, Kent.
