Emily swung by the Crazy Golf course at Castle Park in Penrith, Cumbria on a trip to the Lake District town.

Like it's sister venue in Keswick, the outdoor course in Penrith is known as 'Obstacle Golf'.

The Obstacle Golf course at Castle Park does look quite different to the course at Hope Park in Keswick.

It's always interesting to see a unique miniature golf course.

Cumbria also offers some superb views from the parks.

Castle Park in Penrith is also home to a Putting Green.

Our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

The Obstacle Golf course at Castle Park in Penrith became the 1,084th course visited overall on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour since September 2006, and the 1,023rd in the British Isles.

We're looking forward to returning to the Lake District in the future and spending more time in Penrith as it's one of the towns there neither of us had been to until Emily visited. We last went there together in the summer of 2023.

We revisited the Obstacle Golf course at Hope Park in Keswick, Cumbria during our short break in the Lake District last summer.

There's also a grass Putting layout and a Pitch & Putt at Hope Park (and Boules) and there are some wonderful views of the Skiddaw mountain from the courses.

We first visited the park back in April 2012 and played the Putting course on that occasion.
