The minigolf course at Cadbury Garden Centre in Congresbury is reopening as Cannonball Creek Adventure Golf on Saturday 19th July.

The course had sat abandoned for some time, but is being given a new lease of life, with a refurbishment to reopen as Cannonball Creek Adventure Golf.

Cannonball Creek Adventure Golf is located at the Cadbury Garden Centre in Congresbury - a village between Bristol and Weston Super Mare in North Somerset.

New Minigolf Courses in the UK

We've just updated our tracker for new crazy golf, minigolf and adventure golf course openings across the British Isles where we wrote about the continued boom in new courses, renovations and refurbs.

The updated Cannonball Creek Adventure Golf course at Cadbury Garden Centre is another example of the game growing in the UK.

Minigolf courses at garden centres

Minigolf has become very popular in recent years and has developed from being a traditional outdoor seaside summer activity to become a year round game that can be played indoors or out.

You can find minigolf, crazy golf and adventure golf courses at several garden centres in the UK.

Much like at shopping malls, outlet centres and on the high street, customers are looking to be entertained while they shop, and garden centres can be a perfect spot for a game of minigolf.

The Crazy World of Minigolf Tour

Our passion for miniature golf of all kinds drives our extensive travels. We've now explored 1,083 miniature golf courses on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour since 2006, with 1,022 of them in the British Isles.

The re-opened Cannonball Creek Adventure Golf course at Cadbury Garden Centre will be another new one for us to visit on our never-ending travels!

Fella's Crazy Golf in Weston-super-Mare

A look at Fella's Crazy Golf course in Weston-super-Mare.

We played the 14-hole Crazy Golf course opposite the Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare back in July 2011.

It was the 260th course played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

We've now been to 956 courses since September 2006.

In a first for us the course charged an extra 30p if you wanted a scorecard and pen to score your game!

Emily won our minigolf match-up with a score of 39 to 43.

We're looking forward to a return trip to Weston-super-Mare in the future.
