Ham and Eggers wanted

I spotted this boxing job advert in Stockport town centre yesterday. The advertiser had spared the expense of doing a proper job on it.

They weren't sparing in the distribution of it either as I saw it plastered all round town.

Red Name Dead Ends - another way to say Ham & Egger?

Reading the 17th June 2011 Issue of Sport Magazine there was a story on page 10 about the San Marino Football Club 'Tre Fiori' and the fact that most of their players are so unheard of that they are "Red Name Dead Ends" on Wikipedia!

Another new way to describe "Ham & Eggers". Brilliant.

Fellow BMGA Tour Minigolfer Marc 'The Roller' Bazeley and I have decided that if and when we ever team-up as a Minigolf Doubles Team then we will be called "The Red Name Dead Ends".

Now, time to get to work on my Wikipedia entry...

Arm Champs II, Turks and Jobbing - a revisit to Great Yarmouth's Best Arcade Machine

On Sunday 5th June 2011 we headed to Great Yarmouth for some minigolf and amusement arcade action, and I couldn't resist a revisit to the arcade that is home to the Arm Champs II Arm Wrestling Game. Bizarrely, a video of me losing (Jobbing) on it in February 2007 is my most viewed YouTube video!? At the time of writing this blog post it has 13,017 views!!!

Minigolf Results - "The Jobber Classic" at Hither Green

Prior to the 2010 Green Open Full-BMGA Tour Minigolf Tournament at The Green Indoor Mini Golf course in Hither Green, some of the grizzled veteran BMGA Tour Professionals and a BMGA Rookie with a full years worth of experience decided to play for a 'winner-takes-all' prize fund with a 50p entry fee.

They were 'SHARKED'.

Six players had put their money in, when GMGC Star Julio Kent chipped his 50p into the pot. Not realising he had won the most recent GMGC Club event and would be a hot-favourite Julio's entry fee was accepted into the prize purse.

Oddly, the final total up for grabs reached £3.54 after 'Johnson' Paul Johnson paid £1.04 for his and Owen's entry fee!?

Final Rankings of "The Jobber Classic":
Rank Player
1 Julio 'The Shark' Kent
2 Richard Gottfried
3 Alan Norman
4 Oliver Florence
5 Lionel Bender
6 Paul Johnson
7 Owen Johnson
