Minigolf Course Visit No. 143 - Rocky Pines, The Great Orme/Y Gogarth, Llandudno
The second (and better) of the two courses on The Great Orme in Llandudno was the 18-hole Rocky Pines Adventure Golf course, which is next to the Summit Complex.
The wind can be a real factor in your play. The video below shows how windy it was on the day we played.

Minigolf Course Visit No. 142 - Alpine Adventure, The Great Orme/Y Gogarth, Llandudno
There are two Adventure Golf courses on the Great Orme (Y Gogarth) mountain in Llandudno.
The first one we played was just under half-way up, at the Ski Centre and was a 9-hole 'Alpine Adventure' Minigolf course.

Two derelict Crazy Golf courses en route to Llandudno (Abergwyngregyn & Llanfairfechan)
After the Anglesey leg of the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour, and before we hit the Great Orme mountain/Llandudno portion of our trek we paid a visit to Abergwyngregyn and Llanfairfechan in search of Mini and Crazy Golf courses to play.
In Abergwyngregyn, at the foot of the Aber Falls, we found the remains of both the Aber Falls Tavern and the Crazy Golf course in the garden.
The Tavern itself looked to be under-going re-development, the course however was under a boat and building materials!
In Llanfairfechan, under the shadow of the Penmaenmawr Mountain we found the last five holes of the Minigolf course that was once in the seafront park.

Minigolf Course Visit No. 141 - Anglesey Sea Zoo, Isle of Anglesey/Ynys Môn
The last Minigolf course to be played on Anglesey was at Anglesey Sea Zoo.
The course was a 9-hole Swedish Felt B-run course that had been very well themed as 'Captain Jack's Crazy Golf / Golff Gwyllt' Pirate course. It became the 141st played on the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

Minigolf Course Visit No. 140 - Henblas Park, Isle of Anglesey / Ynys Môn
The second of the three courses we played on the Anglesey leg of the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour was at the one of a kind 8-hole Crazy Golf course at Henblas Park / Parc Henblas.
The course was very interesting to play as it was lacking in actual cups to putt into!? Instead some of the holes/lanes had U-shaped concrete ridges for the ball to (hopefully) come to rest in.

Minigolf Course Visit No. 139 - Holyhead Park, Isle of Anglesey/Ynys Môn
On the 19th August we started the day's play on the Welsh leg of the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour on the Isle of Anglesey/Ynys Môn.
The first of the Isle's courses to be played (and 19th of the Tour of Wales) was the 17-hole Crazy Golf course at Holyhead Park.
In wet and windy conditions we played a very interesting round on the unique and tough course.
Emily won this leg of the Tour with a 53 to my 66 (which was also the worst score on any course played on the trip to Wales).

Criccieth - no Minigolf, just 'Biggish' Golf
Our last stop on the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour of Wales on the 18th August was to the seaside town of Criccieth to look for the two Mini Golf / Miniature Golf courses there.
However, both were found to be (closed for the day) Pitch & Putt courses.

Not playing Minigolf, Crazy Golf or Putting in Porthmadog
Following our visit to the excellent Leisure Park at Tywyn on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour of Wales we set off to visit Criccieth, via Porthmadog.
Whilst driving through Porthmadog town centre we noticed a Crazy Golf course in a park area and set about finding a parking space.
However when we arrived at the kiosk (at 5.30pm) we were turned away from playing as we were told the course closed at 6pm, despite the fact that other people were still playing!? So unfortunately the course lost out on two customers paying to (very quickly) play on their 9-hole Crazy Golf, 9-hole Minigolf and 9-hole Putting Green that all looked to be good fun.
The courses looked good, but unfortunately the customer service was poor.

Minigolf Course Visit No. 138 - Tywyn Leisure Park
Our next stop on the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour of Wales was to Tywyn Leisure Park on Marine Parade in Tywyn.
This great venue had a huge range of games and activities including a 15-hole Crazy Golf course, Bowls, Tennis, Skittles and a Putting Course.
We had time on our schedule to play the Crazy Golf course, and as the skittles looked like great fun we had to have a mini competition on those too. Unfortunately we didn't have time to play on the 18-hole Putting course, a shame, but I hope to return and play there in the future.
