A visit to the minigolf courses at The Glebe in Bowness-on-Windermere.

During our minigolf roadtrip in April 2012 we visited the three miniature golf courses at The Glebe in Bowness-on-Windermere.

Unfortunately none were yet open for the season. The Crazy Golf, Putting course and Pitch & Putt became the 458, 459 and 460th courses visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

Miniature Golf at White Platts Recreation Ground in Ambleside

Playing Crazy Golf at White Platts Recreation Ground in Ambleside, Cumbria.

Back on the 5th April 2012 we visited White Platts Recreation Ground in Ambleside, Cumbria where we found Crazy Golf, Putting and Pitch & Putt courses. And a French Boules Terrain.

The Crazy Golf course became the 287th played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour and the 463rd visited overall.

Plenty to do at White Platts Recreation Ground in Ambleside

In our minigolf match-up on the White Platts Crazy Golf course I picked up the win 26 to Emily's 30 on the 9-hole layout.

Unfortunately we didn't have time to play the Putting course or the Pitch & Putt, but they both looked in great condition.

Crazy Golf in Maryport

Visiting the Crazy Golf course at the Lake District Coast Aquarium in Maryport.

On our big minigolf roadtrip to Scotland and back in 2012 we visited a lot of courses. One of those was the Swedish Felt B-Run type of Crazy Golf course at the Lake District Coast Aquarium in Maryport. Unfortunately we arrived ten minutes after it closed at 5pm so didn't get to play.

The sign for the course is made out of the 'green' of one of the holes - we hadn't seen that before, or since

The Maryport Crazy Golf course became the 469th course on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour when we visited on the 5th April 2012.
