One of the funniest things I've seen during the coronavirus pandemic lockdown are the photos and videos of the mountain goats roaming around Llandudno town centre. They've got free reign as streets are free of people.
We really like visiting Llandudno and the Great Orme. The mountain is home to three miniature golf courses!
We haven't seen any mountain goats up there, but it was fun seeing the sheep there roaming freely near the toboggan run
The Rocky Pines Adventure Golf course at the summit is the highest minigolf course in the British Isles.
Half way down is the Alpine Adventure Golf course at the Llandudno Ski and Snowboard Centre.
If you head down to the town centre you'll find a Pitch & Putt course.
Once the world re-opens we're really looking forward to getting back out to the seaside.
A blog about our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. With a sprinkling of nostalgia and urban exploration for good measure.

Great Orme Family Golf in Llandudno
A visit to the Great Orme Family Golf Pitch & Putt course in Llandudno.
Great Orme Family Golf course has some superb views |
In August last year we swung by the Great Orme Family Golf Pitch & Putt course in Llandudno, Wales.
The entrance to the Great Orme Family Golf course is found on a residential street |
The Great Orme Family Golf Pitch & Putt course was the 834th visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.
There are a number of names for the game in Welsh |
Visit the Great Orme Family Golf website for more information, opening times and prices.

A seagull on a green |
There are three minigolf courses on the Great Orme in Llandudno. In August we revisited the Alpine Adventure Golf course at the Ski Centre halfway up and the Rocky Pines Adventure Golf course at the summit.
When we first visited the Great Orme in 2009 we didn't realise the Great Orme Family Golf Pitch & Putt course was there as we didn't descend the mountain on the town side |

Rocky Pines Adventure Golf in Llandudno
A revisit to the Rocky Pines Adventure Golf course on the Great Orme in Llandudno.
What a view! The course is on the right |
Last August we revisited the Rocky Pines Adventure Golf course at the summit of the Great Orme in Llandudno, Wales. We'd originally visited and played the course during our road-trip around the Welsh coast in 2009.
Unfortunately it was a little late in the day so the course was closed. It was still really nice to visit the Great Orme and take in the wonderful views from it.

Minigolf courses on the Great Orme mountain in Llandudno
A revisit to the Great Orme mountain in Llandudno.
While visiting the seaside resort of Llandudno in Wales we took the opportunity to venture up the Great Orme mountain. We'd been up there once before, during our minigolfing road-trip around the Welsh coast in 2009.
The Great Orme is home to three miniature golf courses, one of which we were unaware of in 2009.
Half way up is the 9-hole Alpine Adventure Golf course at Llandudno Ski Centre. The ski centre is well worth a visit. We had a go on their very reasonably priced toboggan ride on this occasion. You can get a combination ticket with the Adventure Golf too.
At the summit is the 18-hole Rocky Pines Adventure Golf course. It's the highest minigolf course in the British Isles! We played the course in very gusty conditions last time.
Half way down is Great Orme Family Golf, a 9-hole Pitch & Putt course. We found out about the course following our first visit and we've since collected some nice old postcards showing the location. Our visit on Saturday 18th August marked our 834th minigolf course visit on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour since September 2006.
Llandudno is a wonderful spot for a day out or weekend away. We had a marvellous time and are looking forward to our next trip to the North Wales coast already.
More photos from our visits to the three courses to follow on the blog and our social media channels soon.
