A look at That Funky Golf Place at Becketts Farm in Wythall, Birmingham.

The indoor Crazy Golf course was the 942nd we've visited since September 2006. It was the 540th course we've played. We've now been to 906 courses in the British Isles and 945 overall.

We played our first miniature golf course of 2020 on Sunday and it was a new one to tick off on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

On our way back up to Stockport after a weekend down in Abingdon-on-Thames we called in to That Funky Golf Place at Becketts Farm in Wythall, Birmingham.

The indoor venue is home to an 18-hole Crazy Golf course.

Last year we visited a total of 82 new courses and played 36 of them.

So far this year we've visited five courses and played one of them.

Including my brother Christopher's own mini-tour of courses over the years we've been to a total of 965 courses.

When our travels began in 2006 there were around 600 courses in the UK. We estimate there are now 1,200 courses in the UK, with new places to play opening all the time.

Ghetto Golf at Hoults Yard in Byker, Newcastle

A look at the latest Ghetto Golf Crazy Golf course.

Earlier this year the team at Ghetto Golf opened their third indoor minigolf venue with an 18-hole course at Hoults Yard in Byker, Newcastle.

We swung by for a look on Saturday afternoon and found the course to be proving very popular.

Ghetto Golf is something a bit different

The UV areas of the course are my favourite.

The graffiti artists certainly like retro games and 80's pop culture.

Bit rude!

Crazy Cave Shooting Gallery in Stourport on Severn

Spotting a Crazy Cave Shooting Gallery at Playland Fun Park in Stourport on Severn.

I'm a big fan of the traditional seaside shooting shack and so I was pleased to find one I'd never seen before at Playland Fun Park in Stourport. We were in town to play the Crazy Golf courses and noticed the shooting gallery between the two kiosks. It was quite different to the classic 'Old Zeke' style we normally see on on our travels.

For a landlocked town Stourport on Severn has a lot of amusements, minigolf courses and attractions! We're looking forward to another visit to the town.
