Playing dodgeball in Cheadle.
Last night I played dodgeball for the first time in over six years as I attended a session with the Cheadle & Gatley Griffins Dodgeball Club.

My last matches were with the Harpenden Dodgeball Club back in April 2013 so it was superb to be back in action.
The Cheadle & Gatley Griffins Dodgeball Club run sessions on Tuesday evenings and it was brilliant to see a mix of people, ages and abilities playing the fun game.

Another session of dodgeball with the Cheadle & Gatley Griffins Dodgeball Club completed yesterday evening.
Played in some great large team games.
Played ten, won five, lost five. 'Perfectly' balanced.
Got to the last three of Last Player Standing match too.
Next session is next year.

I was back in dodgeball action with the Cheadle & Gatley Griffins Dodgeball Club last night. My first games of 2020. It's my 15th year of playing the game - bar a sabbatical between 2014 & 2018 - and not counting all of the games played at school!
Brilliant fun playing a long game of 'not-Netball not-Basketball backboard bounce back catch' to warm-up!
Some nice practice drills and meteor games too.
My team had an 0-3 record in standard games.
I got to the last 6 of Last Player Standing though and was the last male player in the game.

I had another fun evening dodgeballing with the Cheadle & Gatley Griffins Dodgeball Club yesterday.
We did some different throwing practice drills this week.
I was third in the Last Player Standing match and second male player overall.
My 0-6 record for 2020 remains as we didn't play any full outs games.
The Meteor Ball games were good fun though.

In my last Tuesday night session with the Cheadle & Gatley Griffins Dodgeball Club I played 5, won 4 and lost 1 in games.
We also played a lot of fast paced METEOR BALL games. That was superb FUN as you're constantly moving, dodging, ducking, dipping, diving and dodging. If you're hit or get caught out you run to the back wall and then re-enter the game.
I'm looking forward to returning to dodgeball action once the coronavirus pandemic is over.
