On 'Minigolf Monday' this week I asked "Where in the world was this Pitch & Putt miniature golf course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour?".

The answer was the Pitch & Putt Mini Golf at Onchan Pleasure Park on the Isle of Man.

We played the course during our holiday on the Isle of Man in 2018.

During our round I managed to score my first ever hole-in-one on a Pitch & Putt course. It came on hole 4.

Onchan Pleasure Park is also home to a 9-hole Crazy Golf course.

Looking back at a lost minigolf course.

Last week I asked "Where in the world was this crazy golf course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour?".

The answer was at Pontins Prestatyn Sands Holiday Park in Wales.

We first played the course in 2014 and revisited it in 2017 and 2018.

Sadly the Pontins Prestatyn Sands Holiday Park has now closed down.

We're glad we got to stay at the holiday camp and play the course on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour when we did.

Today is Summerween (again)!

Summerween is celebrated annually on the second to last Friday of the month of June AND on the 22nd June. So you get two bites of the cherry (or should that be watermelon) to celebrate it!

Stonehenge The Big Mini Golf course in Hemsby, Norfolk

Did you know there's a Stonehenge-themed minigolf course in Hemsby, Norfolk?

Stonehenge The Big Mini Golf was the 174th course played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour in June 2010 when it was a 15-hole layout. We first visited it in May 2009 when it was a 12-hole course. It's now an 18-hole course.

Volcano Falls Adventure Golf now open at the White Rose shopping centre in Leeds

Volcano Falls Adventure Golf has opened a new venue at the White Rose shopping centre in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

The new Volcano Falls Adventure Golf location features two indoor adventure golf courses.

Both are 12-hole layouts.

One is called Volcano Valley, the other is Carnival.

The course was originally the 469th visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour back in April 2012. We returned in June 2023 and were able to have a round on the Swedish Felt B-Run type of minigolf layout on that occasion.

One of the fun and intriguing places we had a game of minigolf was UNDERNEATH a rollercoaster at the Fantasy Island theme park in Ingoldmells, Skegness, Lincolnshire, England back in May 2011!

Sadly this particular crazy golf course is a lost course. Fantasy Island is now home to an 18-hole course called Lava Creek Adventure Golf. It's a course we are yet to visit on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

My brother Christopher and his family recently revisited Pettitts Animal Adventure Park in Reedham, Norwich, Norfolk and while there had a game on the Jurassic Golf course.

He also visited the course back in June 2021.

We played a pop-up crazy golf course on a football pitch at a Charity Fun Day at Kent Athletic Club in Luton back in August 2011.

When we lived in Luton Kent Athletic F.C. was our nearest football team.

Looking online it appears that the club's home ground closed at the end of 2015. Kent Athletic F.C. does still exist though and this year celebrates its centenary.
