The 9-hole Crazy Golf course is of the Eternit Miniature Golf variety, although it has had some modifications from the norm. This was in the form of felt over the thin concrete playing surface as well as a selection of fibreglass obstacles, including a Humpty.
The Crazy Golf course at Beacon Park in Lichfield became the 775th course visited and 461st played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.
I'm always happy if there's a Humpty obstacle on a course
In our minigolf match-up I won with a score of 19 to Emily's 23.
It's a good little Crazy Golf layout and we had a fun round on it.
Bumpy
We enjoyed our visit to Beacon Park. The whole area looked nice and the facilities in the park were very good. The Crazy Golf course is next to Pitch & Putt, FootGolf and Disc Golf courses, as well as a Petanque terrain and the park cafe.
Disc Golf, Foot Golf and Pitch & Putt layouts can be seen beyond the fence
Judging by the piece of metal to the left it looks like there used to be a different obstacle on this hole
This was the first time we've seen this variant on the ramp obstacle. Normally the ball is trapped inside the box after putting as a way to collect the ball at the end of a round
