The next course we visited but could not play in Folkestone was at Martello Tower 3! Here the Mini Golf, turned out to be a Pitch & Putt course which we had no time to play.
However, according to Thisisfolkestone.co.uk "Up until 1940, the first floor of the tower was used as a clubhouse for a miniature golf course, and the word 'GOLF' painted in large white letters around the outer wall."
Very interesting information!

I remember playing on this pitch & putt on the hill (overlooking the harbour) as a teenager many yrs ago. It was great fun but you needed to be athletic and agile, as I recall many a ball whizzing its way down the hill !! Unique yet frustrating ...
