It looks quite different to when Emily and I played the course back in 2014.<br /><br />There's some great information <a href="http://www.friendsofvalleygardens.co.uk/page17/page17.html" rel="nofollow">about Valley Gardens</a> and its <a href="http://www.friendsofvalleygardens.co.uk/page17/page5/page5.html" rel="nofollow">history</a> on the Friends of <a href="http://www.friendsofvalleygardens.co.uk/index.html" rel="nofollow">Valley Gardens website</a>.<br /><br />- Miniature Golf (of the grassy Pitch & Putt variety) has been played in the park since 1924.<br /><br />- In 1965 three of the greens on the course were moved to make way for a new children's play area.<br /><br />- The Miniature Golf course (of the Crazy Golf kind) was created in 1970.<br /><br />It's brilliant to read about <a href="http://www.friendsofvalleygardens.co.uk/page17/page5/page5.html" rel="nofollow">the history of the park</a>, it's also superb that the courses are still open and available to play after all these years.<br /><br />We're looking forward to our next visit to Harrogate.Richard Gottfriedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15251803061638754995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37729425.post-47088016787238652372014-03-25T22:32:01.363+00:002014-03-25T22:32:01.363+00:00Thanks 'Anonymous' ;-)
