During Emily's trip to Auckland, New Zealand she didn't have time to play the following minigolf courses:
- Transylvania Indoor Blacklight Mini Golf
- GloPutt Glow-in-the-Dark Minigolf
- Jungle World Adventure Golf at Firmount Golf Park
- Puttstix Mini Golf
A blog about our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour. With a sprinkling of nostalgia and urban exploration for good measure.

Crazy World of Minigolf Tour - Course Played #30 Luton (Stockwood Park) - Mini Golf/Pitch & Putt
Minigolf course visit #30 on the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour was to the 9-hole Mini Golf course at Luton's Stockwood Park.
We first visited the course on the 4th of August 2007, and have returned to play there many times since. It's a well maintained Mini Golf (Pitch & Putt) course, and fun to play.
You also get some good views from the course of Aircraft taking off and coming in to land!

Ping Pong Challenge Match at Wardown Park, Luton
On Sunday 28th November Emily and I headed to Luton's Wardown Park to play some Table Tennis in preparation for my participation in the upcoming "World Series of Pong" Ping Pong Tournament!
In a best-of-three sets match, played in somewhat snowy conditions, I managed to defeat Emily 21-6, 21-19, followed by a 5-2 victory in a one-off first-to-five-points challenge match.
With two Sunday's worth of singles Ping Pong Practice under my belt I feel confident ahead of the upcoming World Series of Pong Slam Jam Grand Final Doubles Tournament in Tooting!
Match Introduction
Warming-up
Last Sunday I lost to Simon 'Practice' Hall at the Wardown Park Ping Pong table.

Not so Wacky Waving Arm-Flailing Inflatable Tube-man spotted in Dunstable
This "Not so Wacky Waving Arm-Flailing Inflatable Tube-man" spotted advertising a car wash in Dunstable today was similar to the "Not so Wacky Waving Arm-Flailing Inflatable Tube-man" that we spotted advertising a Car Wash in Tower Hill, London in October 2009.

Crazy World of Minigolf Tour - 'Down Under' - Australia & New Zealand
On Emily's Crazy World of Minigolf Tour of our Antipodes Emily has played two courses, one in Melbourne, Australia, and one in Auckland, New Zealand. While at the Lilliputt Mini Golf course in Auckland, Emily also had the chance for a tour of the new 'Tee-Rex Alley' course, which is 'Under Construction' at the centre.
These two courses played in Oceania are the 207th and 208th courses played on the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour, and the 11th and 12th overseas!
In the last four years we have played courses in all four home nations (and on a number of Islands in the UK), and in Finland (Tampere), the USA (Denver and Las Vegas), and Austria (Vienna).

Lilliputt Minigolf in Auckland, New Zealand
Lilliputt Minigolf in Auckland, New Zealand becomes the 208th course played on the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.
Minigolf Globetrotter Emily 'Coach' Gottfried has made the 208th Minigolf course visit on the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour with the playing of the 18-hole Lilliputt Mini Golf course on Tamaki Drive, Hobson Bay, Auckland, New Zealand!
Emily tells me her favourite hole at the course was the 16th.
Other photos of the Lilliputt Mini Golf course.
A branded Bin!
Emily tells me there are two courses at the Lilliputt Mini Golf Centre, one of which is open, while the other - The 'Tee-Rex Alley' course - is currently under construction so Emily could not play it on her visit. Photos below.
I look forward to making a visit to the Lilliputt Minigolf Course myself in the future!

Crazy World of Minigolf Tour - Course Played #48 Lytham St Annes - Crazy Golf
On the way home from Blackpool following the inaugural Blackpool Pleasure Beach Open we drove back through Lytham St Anne's where we found two Crazy Golf courses on the 15th April 2008.
We played the first one we saw, but due to time constraints and the fact the course was very busy, we didn't play the second one (it looked much the same as the first - below).
The course did have a 'Humpty' Obstacle though :-)

Crazy World of Minigolf Tour - Course Played #47 Blackpool (Stanley Park) - Crazy Golf - and a forgotten Putting Course
While in Blackpool for the inaugural Blackpool Pleasure Beach Open we visited Stanley Park to play the 18-hole Crazy Golf course.
Looking back through the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour archives I noticed that there was also a Mini Golf Putting Course at Stanley Park, which we didn't play!
