It's another new course for us to visit on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

Adventure Footgolf at Stonham Barns

Smugglers Pass Adventure Footgolf is opening at Stonham Barns in Suffolk this month.

The team at Stonham Barns Golf Park in Suffolk have created a new way to play 'golf' - Adventure Footgolf!

The game is a cross between Adventure Golf and Footgolf.

Footgolf is already a marrying up of elements of football and golf, and played on Pitch & Putt / Par-3 layouts.

It'll be interesting to see the new invention when we next swing by Stonham Barns.

We played a pop-up one-day-only minigolf course set-up on the football pitch at Kent Athletic Club in Luton nine years ago today.

Foot Pool at Pontin's Prestatyn Sands

Playing another new game on our travels.

We recently stayed at Pontin's Prestatyn Sands for a Holiday on the Buses fanclub event and while there we got to play a new game - Foot Pool!

It was great fun and an interesting mix of the two sports.

In our match-up I defeated Emily two games to nil.

Foot Bowl at MFA Bowl in Leeds

While in Leeds we had a couple of games of tenpin bowling at the MFA Bowl below the Merrion Centre. While there we spotted a new game - Foot Bowl.

The MFA Bowl in Leeds is home to the only Foot Bowl alley/pitch.

We didn't have time for a game, but we did see a few people giving it a go.

It's interesting to see how many variations of sports and games are being created at the moment, with the likes of Footgolf, Rugby Golf and Football Pool either growing in popularity or being tested. All good stuff to get people more active and having fun.

Krazy Golf on Porth Island

Playing Krazy Golf on Porth Island, Newquay.

We unexpectedly spotted a Crazy Golf course at Porth Island on our drive from Newquay to Padstow during our South West of England roadtrip in 2015.

The most difficult hole on the course

The course looked interesting, and similar to a Beton Concrete type of miniature golf course.

At the 646th course visited on our tour

However, the playing surface was one of the most bumpy we'd ever played on and coupled with the bouncy golf balls made for one of the most frustrating rounds of minigolf we've ever played. In fact we didn't even manage to finish the round, instead calling it a draw with the score level at 55 shots apiece!

The course was the 47th visited on our two-week holiday, the 377th played overall and the 646th visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

You can find the Crazy Golf course next to the Newquay Football Golf layout. Check out the website for more info.

Luton Town's Victory Parade - Skrill Premier Champions for 2013/14

Congratulations to Luton Town FC on their BIG sporting win in the Skrill Premier Division and promotion back to the football league.

There was a great atmosphere in Luton town centre today as an estimated 12,000 Lutonians headed to St George's Square for the Hatters' Victory Parade.

In the midst of the crowd - can you spot me?

Now that Luton Town are back in the football league they'll be playing games against my other hometown team - Oxford United. Hopefully things continue to improve for both teams and its not like the 2000-01 season of the second division (the year I moved to Luton) when both teams were relegated to Division Three!
